Cause let's face it, if we're here, we have to be geeks of some kind, right? Anyways. Hello. My name is Darren. I've been doing various types of RP for at least 18 years now, from forum RP, to the good old days of Yahoo Chat Rooms, and even the classics of Dungeons and Dragons. I consider myself a fairly experienced writer, though I do have times where I come up with a setting rather than a story. I am not above doing things that are beyond the PG-13 range, here, but I'm also aware of the rules. I always enjoy the thrill of romance within a story, and always find that it simply brings an extra layer of reality to stories, so long as the romance is organic and not forced. That being said, romance is not my primary goal. I am here to Roleplay with people I've never met before, for the fun of roleplaying. Those other things can happen, but we'll address them when/if they arise. I don't limit myself to any one genre, as I consider myself a general geek. I like High Fantasy, Modern, Sci-Fi, Horror, Steampunk, Diesel Punk, Western, and just about everything else and anything else.

Thank you. I actually do enjoy AU RPs as I started out, in the early Yahoo days, RPing as characters from various video games. My first one, I think, was Reno from FFVII, or Shadow from FFVI. One of the two. But yeah, I enjoy that too.

LOL, this is me, too, I've been working on the same setting for about 5 years now, and my characters all live in it. I love worldbuilding, though. Also a fan of more mature themes in RP for the sake of realism.
