You have been given a message from a strange, hooded individual. The only thing that is written in it is: Help needed to find "fantasy creatures" on the outskirts of town. If interested meet under the North Ridge Bridge."
You have a choice, you can either help the person to find the supposed "fantasy creatures" or you can trash it and think nothing of it. However, if you choose to help them, there may be quite an adventure waiting for you, as higher-class people figure out and attempt to take you guys out.

Okay, so this is my first roleplay thing. I'm just using this as a starter, I have more ideas for future roleplays. the only needed information is:

Backstory/ Criminal backstory: (both of these are optional)

Gender: Female
Class: Rogue
Backstory/ Criminal backstory: She has stolen many things, but her main crime is stealing an important paper from the castle. This paper had news of the fantasy creatures. It seemed the guards were overlooking it for some reason, so she managed to steal it and get out of the castle without getting caught.
So if you wanna roleplay, create your character, and go right on ahead. Almost anything can happen in this, so just have fun and ignore my awkwardness.

Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.

Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.
I would love to join, but my only concern is that characters have to be human, right?
If not human, then at least include a small description of what distinguishes them from humans *their abilities to do certain things, or looks*

Criminal Backstory: Verstand had been involved in thousands of assassinations ranging anywhere from simple hitman missions all the way to the assassination of political figures and nobility. The only reason he hasn't died yet is because of what he is. He's not human, but part of a race of entities that can predict the future to a slight extent. It causes a lot of pain and can even result in death but it allows them to predict what something will do up to 5 seconds in the future. The further he looks, the more pain he experiences. As such, he very rarely uses this ability and instead relies on the training he has gained in his lifetime.
