The year is 3059, and slavery is alive and well. Racism thrives as well, as even amongst the aliens there are those deemed 'lesser' than others. The upper echelon spend their leisurely hours at the DuneDome, a coliseum where the wealthy can donate competitors, place their bets, and earn more Microdes than they previously had. The coliseum gladiators range anywhere from slaves, to prisoners of war, to criminals, and more! There are even brave souls that volunteer, in order to 'prove their strength'. And, perhaps, win the 10,000 Microdes for the champion that lasts two weeks in the coliseum. However, nobody has been good enough to last even a week.
Cue Tomo, a brawling female human (assumed - no medical records) that comes out swinging in each round. She's completely reckless, but absolutely devastating in the ring. The spitfire woman has quickly become a crowd favorite, lasting an entire six days so far. But the wealthy aren't having it; they're sending more and more difficult creatures her way, hoping to squash her once and for all.

I'm not looking for an antagonist for this RP. Ideally, it would be someone (male preferred, for romance options) who would be watching the games and rather appreciates her strength. He overhears some of the upperclass scheming to send two mercenaries into the ring to take her down, and decides to step in - perhaps buying her?

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Far future, perhaps galactic teleporters and fast terraforming
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.

Hello! Your character seems really interesting! There's just one little 'kink' (ie problem) that I would want to clarify; his powers are (in essence) the ability to control others, but I get really uncomfortable personally when my character is controlled. Perhaps when they interact, he tries to use this ability and finds that it doesn't work on her? And that might increase his interest in her as well! (hint; she's not actually really human, though most believe she is)

Ah, trust me I only control NPCs
but yes, he only controls humans, animals and robots. Then again, some people's metabolism is better and can adapt to his chemicals.He also would only control someone under these circumstances:
-he can't manipulate them regardless of what he does.
-the person he's manipulating is no fun.
-he has both his headgear and his "Pin Point" (weapon listed on profile)
