Gaia sighed." I don't know. I guess I have to go traveling again. I don't even have anywhere to go." Gaia rubbed the back of her head.

Markal looked up at Tolora with puppy eyes. "Can we go with her? Pleeeeease? We don't have anywhere to go either."

"Ok, ok just stop looking at me like that! Jeez you could kill with that look." She looked at Gaia. "That is, if it's ok with you." Markal turned his puppy eyes on Gaia then.

"Of coarse it's all right." Gaia laughed." It'll be nice to travel with people for once."

Tolora smiled. "I know what you mean." Markal jumped. "Yay!!

Gaia smiled." Do either of you need rest?" Gaia looked at the sky." We can either wait until the morning or travel through the night."

Tolora smiled. "Yeah that'd be great." Markal pouted about having to go back to sleep but he'd only been sleeping under the bush for about an hour.

Gaia looked at Markel and noticed he was pouting." You can help me gather wood and stay up with me if you want."

Markal grinned and nodded. "Let's go!" Tolora laughed and said "I'll see what I can do about shelter."

"There might be a cave but it's been years since I've been out here." Gaia looked at Tolora. Then she looked at Markel." Come on but be careful. Too much noise can attract attention."

Markal nodded. "I can be quiet." He took on a serious face and followed Gaia.

Tolora turned into her tiger form and searched for the cave. After a while she found it. Gaia should be able to find it if she followed her scent trail, but just in case, Tolora decided she'd go out looking for them if they didn't show up in half an hour.

Gaia set out and quickly gathered wood." Think we have enough?" She asked Markal after a few minuets.

Markal looked at the pile he had in his arms, and then the one Gaia was carrying, and then back to his. "Yup! This should keep us warm for a while."

"Then lets get going." Gaia looked around before heading to the cave. She made sure that Markal could keep up with her.

Markal followed Gaia back to the cave and dumped the wood in a little pile. "Can I make the fire? An older boy in the village showed me how!"

Tolora was relieved when they came into sight of the cave. She'd been worried that maybe the Demon Wolf had come back, or that some other creature had been lurking around.

"Just make sure you don't burn yourself." Gaia set her wood in a different pile to use a bit later. She sat down and rubbed her injured shoulder.

Markal sat down and focused all his attention on making the fire. Tolora saw Gaia rub her shoulder. "You feel ok?"

Gaia looked at Tolora." Yeah. It's just a bit sore. I think it's still bleeding a tiny bit."

Tolora nodded. "We'll have to keep an eye on that. Tommorow we'll have to see if we can find someone who can heal you."

"It's alright. I've been through worse." Gaia took her hand off her shoulder, ignoring the pain. She watched Markal.

Tolora nodded and Markal grinned when a small flame came licking up. He added more wood to fuel it and soon it was a steady blaze. "I did it!"
