Plot: Nothing is preset yet, but it's mostly to develop character relationships and have fun.
Setting: Highschool in a rather large town.
Rules: OK, so since this is a realistic roleplay, I'm going to have to set some rules.
First off, just basic roleplay etiquette. Don't power play, meta game, etc etc.
Sooo, now for the realistic part. You're characters can't have any powers, no magic, no vampires, none of that.
Also, I'd prefer if characters didn't have unnaturally colored hair and eyes, but if you want them to, it'll have to be hair dye and contact lenses.
Also, please try and make a good character. Developed personality, don't make a Mary Sue, and all that.
So, this is going to be a somewhat slower turn based roleplay. I'll go first, and say things between other people's turns when necessary.
Anyway, I haven't decided on a character limit yet. I personally love lots of characters, but if this is a group RP we need a limit. Since I am the GM, I'll have a good amount of characters to be NPCs and pretty much just fill the school up. If they become important in the plot, I'll try to keep it at a low amount.
Of course, I'll still be participating in the game with them and roleplaying.
The character limit per player will probably be between 3 and 6, depending on what the players want.
And I should mention, character approval is required.

His childhood was rather quiet, often enjoying long motorcycle road trips when not in school.

Oh, I forgot to say, I'm going to post my favorite and probably most used characters character sheets here, once I have access to the computer anyway. So it could be today or tomorrow.

Basic Information:
Name: Holly Braddock
Age: 17
Sex: Female
Religious and political views: Agnostic, considers herself a classic liberal.
Appearance:
Holly is 5'7", has blue eyes, and thick hair, lashes and brows. Her head hair is naturally a little frizzy, she is cauacasion, and has an hourglass build. Her regular outfit is a red crop top with the black straps crossed over each other, along with a black skirt and grey leggings. She also wears earings, mostly white round studs.
Personality:
Holly is social, confident and laid back, as well as pretty easy to get to know. Once you talk to her more, she'll probably show some more of her traits, such as her stubborness, wit and independence. She's not always stubborn about everything, but once she's decided on something it's very difficult to change her mind yourself. As for her wit, she uses it light heartedly and not to be mean, except for the rare occasion when she's very angry or irritated with you. When I say she's independent, I mean she doesn't like having people in charge of her, following preset rules and regulations, etc. Of course, she knows that sometimes you have to, but she loathes being micro managed and enjoys trying things herself.
Eventually, you may see Holly in an argument or be in one with her. When she's in a debate, then she acts slightly more aggressively, but is pretty much the same other wise. She enjoys them, too. But in arguments, she is likely to be dismissive of people who don't support their claims with facts, as this annoys her and lowers her opinion of the person. If the argument is heated or she feels like she's being attacked, she's also going to be more aggressive and irritable, unlike her usual self.
Holly is also very nosy and curious, which is partially why she started her blog. If your character knows something she wants to know, then Holly is likely to pesrter you about it, and she may even keep it up for months, due to her being so stubborn. Despite this, if you know something, but she knows or thinks you won't tell her if you ask, then she's probably going to dig and search for the information through research, the person's friends, and observing, which is another of her traits (Being very observant.)
This doesn't mean she wants to know everything about you, though. She won't pester about every piece of information, and if she believes your trying to get her to ask and seem mysterious, she'll purposely not ask at times and just search for the information.
Holly also finds it hard to keep other people's secrets, but isn't incapable of doing so. She very rarely shares her own secrets, or writes them down anywhere someone could find and use against her.
