Humanity has fallen. On the brink of extinction from themselves only one landmass still has potential to act as a haven. The Island of Rivengale. Nearly 100 miles off the coast of what used to be the most hospitable place on the planet. While it may seem impossible to get to the island only one way remains. The bridge. The water around the island, along with most other sources is littered with chemicals that corrode metal and cause painful rashes upon exposure. The bridge was formed over time from sand, dirt and stone with a set of tracks on top of them. Train tracks. The only way in or out is by train, most of which have been destroyed or scrapped for parts.
In this inhospitable landscape ruined cities and settlements dot the horizon as the last of humanity is at war with each other for survival. Upon discovery of an abandoned locomotive two people fix up the train in hopes to make it across the country to get to the final station. Rivengale Island. Despite having the means of travel they know that they will have to stop to resupply often. They just need to survive to get all the way there.
Taking the now repaired train Mosely Granger and Aeon Aurora set off to gather supplies for the long journey ahead. Arriving at small, rundown, country town they set off towards the shopping center of the town, making their way across the parking lot, each with a pistol in hand.
Mosley is a young man around mid twenties who wears a white button up shirt with a black vest, accompanied by blue jeans.
Aeon is a fifteen year old boy who wears gray pants with a cream colored shirt with tan stripes.
((Thank you for taking time to read this starter for a RP that is inspired off the game The Final Station. Also this is a post-apocalyptic RP, but it is not a zombie apocalypse RP. Technology is set to be modern with experimental advanced tech (Prototype laser weapons) in rare scenarios.
Characters must be human, no exceptions unfortunately, and can be any age.
I will be RPing as the train conductor (Mosley Granger), Aeon Aurora, and various other NPCs.
