My name is Liv and I have never done this before.
Well, I've roleplayed. A lot. Online. But never on a proper forum and it's something I would really like to get into!
In the past I've not done as much roleplaying with OCs as I'd like to have done, so I'm trying to get more into that.
I'm very nervous about all of this so please be gentle.
I am a big fan of horror, sci-fi, post-apocalypse, dystopian, generally messy and troublesome stuff. Also rather of fond of unconventional romance and anything lgbt (as I, myself, am rather queer). Big fan of stompy angsty things, too.
Other things about me:
- I am very short
- I really love learning about history (particularly classical and medieval) but I've never done rp in any of those time periods
- My favourite books are: Geek Love, Theatre of the Gods, The Night Circus, and pretty much everything Neil Gaiman has ever written
- My whole wardrobe is a fancy dress box
- The best reatures in the history of the universe are octopi
- One day I aspire to live in library surrounded by cats

I'm a huuuge fan of medieval stuff, I studied medieval witchcraft and western religion at university so I know the area pretty well. It's not an area I've RP'd a lot though, so I reckon it'd take me some time to get used to it and I might bog myself down with thinking about factual plot points :p

I play the semi-original character Lamech in The End of Night play-by-post TBRP fiction (a private RP that is not yet rated, and therefore not advertised here, but you can PM me for more information about the RP and how you can join). I use a touch-screen phone 90% of the time and may be slower to post (meaning I peck the letter-keys with one or two fingers usually). In other words, I'm not as fast as I used to be and may take longer to respond these days. But if you have any questions or need help with anything, or if you just want another friend and someone to RP with, feel free to shoot me a text or PM. You sound like such a creative person with a intelligent mind, it's a breath of fresh air. The type of genre you like are also all so very interesting.

All silliness aside, I hope you're settling in nicely and making yourself at home on the site. I'm always a sucker for fantasy settings myself, especially medieval and modern. But I've always wanted to try period-pieces, because then I have infinite excuses to research eras I don't know so well.
On the other hand, I never get enough of interesting sci-fi settings. And so far I've only got one of those going, so RIP me, I guess.
Hit me up for an RP sometime! Could be fun.
