MJBeiro and I are hosting a new RP in the Fantasy forum called "The End of Night" (the 1st story in a series of occultic RP stories revolving around vampires, werewolves, witches and warlocks). We're looking for 3 other players to help in writing "The End of Night" (a modern-day story in NYC) with us. The script is very strict, but basic and open to new ideas. Here are the 3 roles we need more players [male or female] to sign-up for:
1.) Human - a detective investigates a series of mysterious murders in NYC, only to discover that the murderers he is hunting aren't really human, and may be hunting him. (a leading role; but not a main character in this episode.)
2.) Werewolf - this species thrives, not openly but they make up a good portion of the population in NYC and have few enemies. They're close to ruling the city now. Vampires are almost extinct. Only one teenage girl stands in their way, but she's the most powerful vampire? they've ever encountered. (leading role; not a main character in this episode)
3.) Dhampir- a lonely daywalker, a very rare specialist gifted with the ability to hunt and kill others like him. He is a half-blood, only half vampire. He hates both vampires and werewolves alike, and will stop at nothing to kill them. (minor role; not a main character in this episode)
The main characters for "The End of Night" are Lamech (played by TheProfessor, an ancient blood-god and progenitor of all the other characters) and Loki (played by MJBeiro, a teenage vampiress).
If you're interested in joining The End of Night, please post a short summary or basic CS for a GM to review. Originality is encouraged but please be mindful of the plot and stick to the basic rules. Please do not submit a CS which changes the presented character's species or traits. In other words, no hybrids except for the dhampir who is already a hybrid (The End of Night is not the only story in this series; leading or minor characters in this story may end up having major roles in the sequel; characters who die in this story likewise may be asked to return during the prequels, so don't fret - you will get a chance to shine!).

If this RP is gonna have mature content in it it might be a better idea to post this in the ao looking for section.

I agree, this topic sounds like it will be best to move to the Adult Boards.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and concerns. "The End of Night" in-character RP session is currently located in the "Fantasy" RP/IC Forum where it is being monitored by both GM's and several board moderators. Warnings and disclaimers have also been posted at the titles and headers of every ad and session. Before making this post (and after seeing previous responses) I also posted an ad in the "Adults Only" section. We are anticipating a lot of activity and interest (hopefully) from our readers and expect this to be an awesome vampire mythology series. Again this is just an ad for the 1st story. We hope to make this a series involving several stories and RP's involving characters who progress through different time periods, struggling with one another for dominance. The reason this RP is not labelled (not yet rated) is because of its controversial nature. Although there is an extensive and deliberate practice of "suggestive" writing by players within the RP, the GM's encourage readers to consider this RP as a story, and the players as talented writers of typical gothic romantic literature. "The End of Night" presents gothic romantic literature using the purest form of twisted taboo and acting performances in what the GM's feel "every great vampire horror story deserves." During this presentation, there is no pornography or explicitly sexual content (or anything which can be technically rated-R/M/X). There are also no elements which are not explicitly mentioned in this disclaimer. But for this disclaimer, the word "Mature" has been added in the topic header before the warning label in the disclaimer (yada yada yada- That and one of the Mods who came up with the idea is underage *yawn* lol).
