Today I've been super anxious, but somehow made it into energy to get stuff done? Is this what normal people do when they get that jittery, unplaceable terror feeling? Just find something to do to pass time?
'Cuz I did the dishes by hand, went scrounging out in my Granpa's shop for the coffee cans he's been using as coin cups for years, and started rolling all the coins I could. Only thing that stopped me from getting them all was a lack of penny wrappers, since he's got probably a thousand dollars worth of pennies in all those cans.
Also read the entire 30 chapters of an ongoing YYH fic that my friend recommended and it has been a delight so far. It's on fanfiction.net: Blinded by Light. So if you're interested.... yeah.

I know this is going to sound weird, but I either listen to sounds like running water or rain fall, or drink a ton of strawberry milk because it makes me all giddy! I would suggest trying to find soothing sounds or something, if thats possible.

No, no - that makes sense. I need that kind of 'white noise' thing when I'm trying to sleep, so I'll turn on a fan or leave the radio on low. Hadn't thought about doing that while awake, though. I'll have to give it a try.

I also love the look of firelight against the wall... Idk what it is about the flickering flame dancing in the dark that makes me feel so happy.. Just such a beautiful sight.
I suffer from insomnia so my white noise is whenever my body goes AND SLEEP! and i just fall over lol (Which I cant sleep now because I live near the firing range for the Mesa PD x.x BANG BANG!)
If I'm at home, then taking hot shower with some nice smelling soaps and doing some tidying and organizing of my space are my go to distractions. Getting chores done makes me feel productive too, so it's a win/win.
I definitely appreciate white noise also, I have an hour long loop of radio static with me whenever I'm outside in case I need to shut the world out. Modelling clay is another good way to keep the mind and hands busy if you're a fidgety kinda person, and I've heard adult colouring books are very popular for stress relief on the go.

I walk a lot and recently took up boxing and HIIT sessions to expel nervous energy!
I play Ark with my girlfriend and sometimes when I'm nervous or anxious I will sign onto the server to go find cute dinosaurs for her.

Usually i'll put earphones in and play music, and now that i've got a treadmill the option to run it off is always therapeutic.
I agree with Rat though, shower/baths and tidying up so long as there is music and candles involved then life is good. ♡

Heh. I do plenty of both, but sometimes it just isn't enough.
Honestly it’s one of the reasons why I rp. I also watch the weirdest YouTube videos and play games on my device to help as well.
I don't. I live with it and its not healthy in the slightest. :^)
I write. Settles my mind and refocuses me.
Settling down anxiety can be quite subjective, it varies from person to person. Plus, I don't consider 'unhealthy' ways of riding oneself from it as valid. c:
Anyhow, for me, it's doing the dishes. It's a rather small task that you spend 10 or so minutes doing and that anyone can get done, with no difficulty at all. It soothes my scattered mind and it serves as a small ember that reignites my fuel for creativity, or anything else.

I agree with Churchtuary. For me, exercise is the best method of dispelling anxiety. Because it releases endorphins, it's beneficial for anxious minds as well as those suffering from low moods.
Exercise can be anything from yoga to a moderate walk, or a run or swim. Plus it's always good to feel like I'm putting in some "me" time whilst I'm doing something like that.
