Magic is very common. Magic-tech, grand floating islands, forests that sing, magical creatures may be an every-day occurrence.

Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.

Alright. Will the rp itself be taking place in pm's? If so, is there any idea where the portal leads? A specific place or planet where the party is intended to meet?
a hubworld of sorts for the multiverse. a single city is where all of the permanent population that is known is located and an endless wilderness surrounding it. the portals lead to the center of the city in a park of sorts.
