Greetings! I am on the hunt for friends, enemies, and family members for my dear Jūzō here. Jūzō is a powerful Yoma (Demon) who serves as the last member of the Yomawari clan. The Yomawari were an ancient, gold-eating line of demons, who once protected a village from the Yokai Realm in return for gold offerings. The shrine and village have long been abandoned however, and the basin of offerings left empty. In the age in which Jūzō has been left without duty, he has wandered the Yokai Realm alone, ever at war with the tyrant Shuten Dōji.

What I am looking for:

• Friends. Someone to protect, someone to fight with. Someone to give him purpose. Someone who wishes for protection on a long journey. A lost child who only wishes to go home, or perhaps someone who has fallen into the Yokai Realm.
• Enemies. Jūzō is a guardian of mortals and a slayer of his own kin. Perhaps someone wishes to end this madness,
  or perhaps a mortal summons him with the intention of controlling him. One-shot fight scenes are wonderful.
• Family. A sibling, a son or daughter, a cousin. I would love to give Jūzō some blood connections. Perhaps a mortal shares blood with the Yoma, and is unaware of their Yomawari lineage.
• Apprentices. Jūzō pities mortals, and so might consider the sharing of his sword-arm with those who bring him a gold coin or two.

A less fantasy-oriented AU might see Jūzō as a mortal Samurai.

Not at all! Your character can hail from wherever, so long as you make it work. PM and we can discuss things a little further!

Ooh! I got characters that could fit in a few roles here, I think.

Duran could be an enemy and/or family. I mean, he's probably human, but he could be half-yokai.

Raed could be a friend and/or apprentice. She travels often and falls into and out of trouble a lot. She always appreciates folk who aren't immediately enemies.

Tom, if I go with an AU version, could be an ally, an enemy, or a cousin.

And if you're willing to give it a try, I've got another fox related to my boy Rick that could be an enemy and/or a friend. Probably has been both in his long life.

I actually made a character just for this. It seems like such an interesting idea. If anything you can message and we can talk about the details
