Valera was startled by the exuberant attention that Kidan was giving her. She responded by giving a startled merawr and jumping backward. It was just too much, to suddenly go from a complete lack of social interaction to the extremely animated attention that the monkey like boy was giving her.

From a safe distance she gave Kidan a wary look as she wasn't sure what to make of him. It was then that Dean spoke and she turned to look at him after giving a curious meow. Valera then offered a slow nod of her head when he asked her if she was an experiment before turning to look at Kidan again. He had already started to jump up and down as he asked Dean if he could come along too and just the sight was enough to make her recoil a bit.

Dean looked at monkey with an annoyed expression "okay okay, calm down" Dean took out a map of manhattan and placed it in the ground. A few land marks were crossed out with the words overrun or infested written on them. Some were circled with question marks inside and some location had squares around them with "armed bandits" written inside.

"There's a shopping mall just around the corner" he said pointing down a road "I have't checked the place out but my best guess is it's already been raided" folding up the map after mesmerising the rout from the shopping mall the the bandit hideout he then placed it into his shoulder bag. "Little miss, are you coming along?" He asked Miranda

She took a moment and nodded. She jumped and seemed to stay one the side of the wall. "I'll go." Her eyes showed little emotion. Her eyes seemed almost dead.

Ritsuka smirked as she was in the abandoned and run down part of manhattan. She smirked the place reminding her of her home. She sat on top of a lamp post watching. Her black scarf that wrapped around her neck and was left long in thebback flapped in the dusty wind. She smirked her four arms balancing herself. "lalalala wonder weres the crowd? I hear people...or atvleast what i think...hmm they should be far off. Wonder what they got, wonder what they can do, hmm anything besides cracking the skulls of rust infected humans. And horny experiments."she said thinking to herself aloud, her black and white spiral eyes spinning as she thought. She groaned as she looked at the site she sighed as she felt a rock throw at her head. She sighed as.it was abandit wanting to pick a fight, she looked and saw it was a small group. Cracking her knuckles she looked at the bandits who started to make cat calls.

Ritsuka wore a small strapless top that exposed her two extra set of arms on her back. She wore short and knee high gothic like military combat boots. She left her abdomen exposed and wore black cuffs on her wrists and midway on her arms. She smirked as she gripped the lamp post pole and spun around on it. She landed hard on the ground cracking the cement, she spat on the ground as she grabbed a bandits skull and another head and cracked them together."come now boys im not a piece of meat you can take your loneliness out on." She said as she started the fight not to far from the group of travelers.

(OOC: kat, mind if I call ya Kat? It doesn't matter if your posts are small or long just as long as you reply m'kay?. And you don't have to reply straight after Olthain you can reply whenever you think appropriate )

Dean's attention turned to the commotion as he watched the fight. First he didn't want to interfere because it wasn't his fight but the girl looked innocent and young "you guys come along if you want" lifting up his shoulder bag and placing it onto his shoulder he made for the bandits "hey, leaved her alone..." He saw one of the men was being affected by the earliest stages of the 'Rust' where his conciousness was still his and not corrupted entirely "and what's it to ya pops? Get outa here before we make you regret it" one of the men replied threatening him with a machete
"I'm not here to play games" Dean said threatening the bandits but they laughed at his attempt thinking he was weak.

Ritsuka blinked several times as her eye darted to the strange man that seemed to come out of no where. She gripped her fists as she punched a bandit in the jaw."oi, stranger i can handle them myself."she said not wanting others to get involved however she planned that someone would come along, however she was not expecting some one to come during the battle. She defended her self with her four arms as a bandit came in attacking her with a pipe. She grabbed it and picked the man off his feet and flung him into the crowd. Anoyher came at her with a knife and she kicked the man in the gut before he had the chance to even stab.bit was almost ss if she knew it was.going to happen.

The bandits laughed the ones rust infected all came forward and some in the early stages ran towards the man who tried to defend Ritsuka. They seized advantage of the confusion and split into two small groups. One to attack Ritsuka and one for the man, however.

while Ritsuka seemed slighty distracted by the mansbapperance and it threw her off she felt s pipe kiss her back as sheblet out a yell of pain. She then felt something on her back she let out a disgusted scream as it was one of the infected on her back drooling and trying to mount her. She grabbed the mans face not caring.about being bitten."aww disgusting! Get it off!" Ritsuka letbout a yell punchingbthe man pulling the man off whole she tried to defend herself with her three other arms. She growled bashing the mans face in but it didn't seem to be doing anything."dammit!" She yelled hating herself for letting herself be distracted.

"This is taking too long!" Kidan yelled happily. He dashed forward and jumped up against the wall of the building beside them, and catapulted himself into the middle of the group. His metal staff, seemingly appearing out of nowhere, was swung around in wide arcs, hitting several bandits hard on the heads or in the stomach. As the last one swung a machete at him, he simply caught it in mid-air with a thick leather gloved hand and smacked the tip of his staff hard against his forhead, sending him sprawling.

Seeing all of the bandits down on the ground, Kidan started jumping up and down. "That was no fun! you guys are weak!" He punched several of them in the ribs once more, just to hear them groan. He laughed happily.

[Oh I wasn't trying to keep turn order, I just wanted to be sure I had enough to reply to. xD]

Valera quickly lost interest in the others as she watched the strange female fight all those bandits. It was easily enough to make her want to "play" some more. All of a sudden she wasn't standing where she had been, instead she was already more then halfway toward the bandits moving at top speed. This leopard girl of an experiment was incredibly fast, moving at a speed that would likely make even Dean envious. It was a speed born from a mixture of intense conditioning and the DNA of the leopard that lived inside her.

Suddenly she was in the thick of things and it was readily apparent that she was only playing with the bandits. Valera was easily knocking them around and using whatever strength they had against them as she juggled them around with martial arts. She was also leaving with wounds that she made with her claws, but none of the wounds were life threatening. The leopard girl was also making a large number of delighted meows as well as purring as she toyed with these bandits. Just by looking at it, it became pretty obvious that she had gone somewhat feral during the time she had been free from the lab.

Dean hadn't tried to do anything and the bandit that tried to attack him was already sliced up into pieces in the matter of seconds and all he did was watch the rest of them 'play'. He got ready checking his pistol for ammo "3 bullets left... Better make them count" he said under his breath.

The streets leading to the shopping mall were completely rundown with cars all over the place, street lamps on the floor some even bent. A big enough crack ran across the street seperating it into two halves and the dust cloud that blew made it harder to see how far the other half of the street was. "Seeing as in you've all had some fun, it's time to move because I can hear cars inbound and my best bet is that they're bandits" Dean put one foot back then shot off down the street volting over cars with no effort. A lorry which blocked the way lay in front of him so he broke through the passenger side window and dived out the drivers side. Monkey could've probably done better hey, even the smallest of activities made life worth living in the situation they lived in.
As Dean approached the edge of the first half of the road he stopped and thought for a minute, he may be strong and fast but he sure as hell wasn't going to risk a jump like that. Though he could probably make it.

(Olthain I have an idea and it may or may not be what you wanted but I wan to try it, I hope you guys stick it out till the end )

Monkey sighed deeply "Awwww! More bandits is a bigger party!" He followed Dean anyway, following him with no effort whatsoever. He tended to use his staff as a pole to launch himself over objects, making him jump higher than you would without a pole. When he arrived at the lorry, he simply jumped on top and down again the other side. He laughed happily as he caught up with Dean. "That was fun!"

Ritsuka was some what relived to see others, one that was super hyper active she couldn't dscribe how though. Another with leapord print and the ability of one. She looked at the others as the bandits dropped like flies from the area. she rubbed her back and looked at the others, she looked with her spiraled black and white eyes as she could make out car sounds. She rolled her eyes and began to search the dead bandits for some type of bladed weapon. Once she found two machetes it was well worth it. She held put them on her back for the time being and looked at the other. She spat on the ground and started to smile seeing the sword weilding man and the hyper active man make their way towards the shopping mall. She tilted her head somewhat confused and before she could have her introductions and were they were going they were gone. She looked to the leapoard woman and waived her hand to her."Ritsuka, and thanks for saving my ass. were are they headed to? Id like to give them my thanks especially the one with swords." she said hoping the leapord woman was an ally.

Ritsuka started to think about the situation and her eyes spiraled, the direction they went was litered with cars and mangles streets. It certianly was a dangerous area yet there were plenty of places to hide. She wondered what they could possibly want at the mall, she had been around the area before. And every time she would encounter the infected. IT was almost like they longer to have the stink of humanity they once had. Ritsuka sighed as she wipped her body of the blood that splashed on her body from the others fight. This was the one thing she couldn't stand among other things blood stuck to her skin. She hated the feeling when it dried, it crumbled and cracked creating noise she didn't want. Staring at the other she wondered if she should follow suit after them. Perhaps even spy on them.

[Umm I'm trying to decide how well Valera should be able to jump in my post. She would be able to jump better then Dean and Monkey can jump better then dean. So I don't want to accidentally contradict Olthain here. Exactly how well can monkey jump with that pole? I know it's kinda stupid, but I don't want to step on anyone's toes.]

(while using a pole, monkey can jump up to 5 meters high and 10 meters forward on flat ground. Without pole, that's 2 meters high and 6 meters forward. Sounds reasonable?)

(Dean can jump pretty high but like 2x the hight of a professional basket ball player)

[Thanks for the info. I decided that Valera can jump 4 meters high and 8 meters forward. So she beats Monkey without his pole, but he beats her with it.]

Valera looked at Ritsuka with a confused expression as she was not sure how to react to her questions. She gave a light mew and looked around as if she expected that Ritsua was actually talking to someone else. Only after she had became sure that the woman with the extra arms was actually speak to her did she finally reply. "I don'tch know themsh." It wasn't that she didn't know how to speak properly, but rather her vocal cords were so unused to producing words that they ended up messing them up a bit. However the results were still understandable even despite the mistakes and the scratchy voice.

She stood around the dead bandits a bit as if unsure what to do. Valera didn't know whether she should stay or follow after Dean and his group. Her expression continued to remain confused as a result. However in the end she decided to follow them for now and started to run after them. Upon reaching the cars she leaped effortlessly over them, easily catching up with Dean. Even when she had reached the spot where Dean had hesitated, she leaped and cleared it without a moment's pause. She then turned back to look at Dean with an inquisitive look and a just as curious mew.

Dean felt uncertain he should jump, he may be fast but he wasn't jumping for fun. Dean turned to the lorry and walked up to it rolling his sleeves up as he looked at. He got over to the passenger side and pushed turning the whole lorry until it turned to the gap with little effort.

He walked around it until he got behind it and pushed it into the hole fast until it wedged into the crack creating a sturdy make shift bridge "Easy..." he said under his breath as he crossed.

Kidan jumped across the gap, touching the makeshift bridge only with his pole and only once. "Where do we go, strong man?" he asked curiously, cocking his head to the side and looking at him with his face still covered from sight.

Ritsuka only blinked and stood there with an open mouth as she was too unsure and rather confused of the entire situation. The cat woman mearly meowed at her and spoke leaping off afterwords to chase after the others. She let out a sigh as she watched them form a bridge she saw him taking the lorry and creating a bridge between the gap. She walked up to the man that had spoken up before and waived with one of her arms."hey, i havent had the delight of thanking you yet." she said trying to squeeze a bit of knowledge out of the small group.

As he got to the other side he looked back and shouted "quickly, we'll ask questions later" he turned and ran once more dodging obstacles and jumping through houses before he got to the mall entrance "a package was supposed to be delivered here, let's hope it is..."
