Hi, I'm Crystallinefluidity! I guess you can call me Crystal.
I'm new here and got recommended this site by a friend. I heard it's a good site for dnd style rps, and I see all other kinds here too
I've been rping a long time, and I'm a literate roleplayer. I usually do fandom rps, but I've been looking more into original characters (which is why I'm here!)
Would anyone have any suggestions, recommendations, or ideas for how to get started on this site?

Yep, it's a fantastic site for high fantasy roleplaying from my experience; I'm also a big fan of DnD RP (the Forgotten Realms setting is my favourite).
To get started, if you have an idea for a specific roleplay in mind, you could make a post in the Looking for RP forum. Otherwise you can always browse what is there currently.

You can also make up some character profiles for your existing characters & new ones. Whoever you'd like to roleplay with, really. You can mark them as anonymous if you like as well; some people like to be mysterious like that. It's not a necessity before seeking out a roleplay, but some people do like to read the character page before deciding whether they'd be a match or not.
