A struggle ensues between two men in the woods, a detective and a Ghoul. A yell is heard after the Ghoul is stabbed in the gut by the detective. The Ghoul falls over and holds his gut whilst in pain. The detective wipes away blood from his mouth after the Ghoul punched his jaw. "Wh-why....?", asked the Ghoul, "I'm tired of monsters like you living here.", replied the detective as he raised his foot over the Ghouls head. A skull cracking and breaking is heard in the woods as the detective has just stomped on the Ghouls head three times, "I need to head back to town...", says the detective while holding his shoulder from a previous injury from the Ghoul.

He walks away with blood on his face, vest, shirt, pants, and boot. 'I hate my job sometimes...', the detective thought. Up ahead is the new town where the detective now works at and lives at. He glances over his shoulder and sees a man dressed like him over the Ghouls body. The detective hurries and hides behind a tree. Peeking over, he sees.... nothing but blood in the snow. "Wish I had my revolver.... should've shot him while I had the chance....", he says as he returns to walking towards the town.

The next day has arrived and the detective is leaving the station after a talk with friends. He pulls out his cig pack and smokes himself a cig after lighting it with his lighter. "I need some coffee.", he says as he walks over to the nearby cafe... 20 minutes have passed and the detective has himself traditional black coffee and his private case journal, a journal which holds cases he has done over the years. Sipping some coffee, he returns to his journal...
