** OOC - please read this first- before replying. It's basically what I'm looking for, for this RP. Sorry I'm a little new at the forum format, but I'd like to keep the IC and OOC as separate as possible. Any questions, let me know!**

Yui stepped onto the train platform, popping her umbrella as soon as it was physically possible. The station was packed with entrants for U.A High School, making it difficult. Thankfully she managed not to get too damp in the downpour, which calmed her nerves. She really wanted to make a good impression on her first day.
"Will it even be safe to go through with the exams?" she thought to herself, drifting into the sea of starry-eyed, would-be students.
Even without the crowd, U.A's campus was too enormous to miss. It's large walls reflected the grey skies above.
Once inside, Yui broke from the crowd and retrieved her phone. She pulled up the introductory email she'd been sent several weeks ago, to check for directions. Soon enough she found herself at a large set of doors.
"Supervision Station", they read.
Yui hadn't entirely known what to expect when she stepped inside, but it definitely wasn't as many people that ended up greeting her. She squeaked in the doorway, giving a meek wave at what appeared to be a group of second years.
"H-hello, um. I'm... Yui Blake - here to see Recovery Girl...?"
The second years collectively turned to a tall chair in the centre of the room, facing a display screen.
"Ah, Yui."
The chair swivelled around, to reveal a petite elderly woman, who smiled in her direction.
"It's so lovely to finally meet you."
Yui bowed, "Yes! You as well."
Inside she hoped she hadn't looked too surprised at Recovery Girl's appearance.
"Don't be shy," Recovery Girl soothed, "You'll need to be closer than that to properly view the exams."
Yui felt the eyes of the students on her as she walked over to stand by the tall chair, "U-uhm, yes. Of course."
Despite towering over everyone else in the room, she felt nervous.
"These are some of our top second year students attending this year," Recovery girl said, gesturing to the teenagers around her.
They exchanged nods with Yui, and a boy with wild green hair and freckles stepped forward.
"Are you a student at U.A as well..?" he asked, looking up at Yui.
Recovery girl chuckled beside them.
"Not quite, Midoriya. Yui will be doing very different study to that of you and your classmates."
She looked pointedly in Yui's direction.
"I'm part of the Medical Quirk program," Yui explained with a small smile.
"So you've already moved onto a tertiary degree," another student commented.
He had broad shoulders and wore glasses.
Yui nodded, "That's right. I'll be studying under Recovery Girl helping injured students."
"So you have a healing quirk then?" Midoriya asked, looking interested.
Beside him another student, a girl with short hair and a bubbly smile giggled.
"N-no actually - I um. My quirk is triggering muscle spasms upon contact. B-but I wanted to know more about the human body and soft tissue, to better understand my quirk. So that's why I'm studying...."
Yui trailed off, watching in awe as Midoriya produced a notebook, and began to scrawl across a blank page.
"Don't mind him," The girl beside him chuckled with a fond smile, "He does that a lot."
"His fascination with quirks is why we're here actually," the taller boy added.
"To see the new students?" Yui guessed.
The two nodded.
"I'm Ochaco Ururaka, by the way," the girl smiled warmly.
"Tenya Iida," the boy followed with a polite bow.
"And that's Deku," the two said in unison, looking between them as Midoriya continued to jot down notes.
"N-nice to meet you all," Yui smiled.
"Does your quirk have a time constraint? Or a limit of people you can affect at one time?" Midoriya asked suddenly, head snapping up to face Yui, pen poised in-hand.
"U-uhm well-"
Iida and Ururaka laughed beside him, but Recovery Girl interrupted the students before Yui could answer.
"I'm afraid your questions will have to wait, Midoriya," she said, beckoning Yui to look at the screen, "The practical exams are about to begin."
Yui bowed apologetically, but Midoriya didn't seem to take much offence.
Turning back to the screen, Yui could see it had been split into quarters. In the first she could see eager entrants lining up outside a large gate - apparently not deterred by the rain. The other three screens showed inside the exam arena from various angles.
High rises standing in grid-formation, and leaving only narrow passages.
The silhouette of something distinctly mechanical, lurking in the mists of the rain.
And a faceless mannequin laying in an empty room.
"W-what is the test exactly...?" Yui asked, puzzled at the imagery before her.
"It looks completely different this year.." she heard Midoriya comment quietly behind her, followed by more scrawling in his notebook.
"There have been many changes taken into consideration concerning the wide array of quirks students present with," Recovery Girl explained, "To my understanding, unlike last year, there will be a significantly heavier focus on rescue, collaboration, and avoiding unnecessary risks."
Behind them all three of the second years looked sheepish. Yui nodded along, listening intently.
"The students will need to work together, and utilise their quirks to the best of their abilities to rescue mannequins like the ones you see there," Recovery Girl continued, "Each is worth a certain number of points."
Onscreen, Yui could see a teacher standing in front of the entrants, likely explaining what Recovery Girl was now.
"How much each is worth depends on the risk of the rescue. The students will need to determine on their own which mannequins are worth the effort, and which are not - given the time limit."
"...So there's no visible indication given like with the battle robots from last year?" Midoriya asked, unable to help himself.
Yui was equally curious.
"No," Recovery Girl replied, " They need to prove they possess a decently balanced sense of priority to the judges. Who it is most vital to rescue."
"... So playing it too risky or too safe would be a bad idea.." Yui said, nodding slowly.
"That's correct."
Shortly after, the giant arena gates opened. Yui watched students rush inside, silently thankful she wasn't the one taking the exam. A particular girl quickly caught her eye, standing out among the crowd.
