What few memories he can recall reveals a great tragedy that befell the elves, the forest froze over. Jas was the only one untouched by the frost, forcing him to fend for himself in a frozen wasteland. He quickly learned to control and regrow nature, slowing reversing the frost from the forest before setting off to learn to control his magic. He is still unsure what caused the tragedy, but deep down he knows it was him and his uncontrolled magic.
