Soo, I know the last time I was here I said I had gotten a new job back in like October, well, unfortunately it didn't work out too well, and on top of that, I was out of work for the entire month of December because I was close to going over my designated part time hours.

Buutt, after a somewhat stressful December and a kind of a grace period in January, Rico has landed another job that is, wait for it...... Full time. It'll be my first full time job and its second shift, with hours from 3-11p.m. Its an odd schedule for me, and will seriously affect my usual rp schedule, as sporadic as it is, but it will limit to my rp times to about 8 a.m to about 1:45 pm.

Its a warehouse job and I'll be packing boxes. Lots of standing but hey, I have experience working at UPS. That said, I start next Monday on the 5th. I'm nervous but excited, but it will definitely be a good new experience! Yay to adulting!!
Congrats! Hope it goes well!

Aw man I know how that is though, up until August of last year. At least, without the toddlers. But I do have siblings
Yeah, it sucks.

+ A job that can give you headaches almost every day
+ Medical school from 6AM-10AM
+ Planning my wedding
+ Cooking food for my 'family'
+ Dealing with loss

= My life
+ wake up at 0500 every day, even when you're trying to sleep in on the weekends
+ going outside in negative degree weather to stand in a rectangular thingy with a bunch of other guys for an hour
+ hours of walking back and forth repeatedly for pointless reasons that could have been avoided if people just did their JOBS!
+ having to look a certain way 24/7 or be thought of as a pile of sh*t
+ having to look after six other people because they can't tell their *ss from their face on a good day
+ having to skip lunch everyday because your supervisor needs sh*t done ten days ago, but nobody knew about it until that morning
+ having to balance paperwork on top of that
+ trying to keep a connection with the love of your life without unintentionally snapping at her
+ realizing that all of this is easier than you could possibly imagine
= My life.

Keep your filthy civilian life, with your ability to look how you want to, and see your loved ones when you want to. ARMY STRONK! *cries softly in the corner*

Aw, Bigger!
Well, if we are going to do a breakdown of my day...

+Waking up around 2-3 a.m. when your daughter cries because she has a wet diaper. Then she doesn't want to go back to bed because it's "playtime"
+Go to sleep around 4 in the morning only to wake up at 6 when both kids wake up (often times without you realizing and then finding your son raiding the fridge or trying to get cereal from on top of the fridge. He's three)
+Between that time and 11 in the morning, breakfast, dishes, cleaning up messes that the children make only to turn around to find another mess. Screaming for the television, screaming because they want nap time and then screaming because even though they want nap time they don't want to sleep.
+Clean up the messes during the half hour name (sometimes i get an hour!) before lunch and dishes all over again.
+After lunch, bathes or showers, whichever they prefer at the time then chasing little naked toddlers around the house for at least an hour to get them dressed for the babysitter.
+Pack diaper bag, hope you don't forget anything, rush to get ready for work and hope you don't forget anything for work.
+Most days drop them off, race to work and begin the long hours of cleaning shit filled bathrooms (literally), vacuuming 37 classrooms (on days everyone shows up), trash, recycling, etc. While trying not to slip and fall on ice
+Try not having any mental breakdowns because you over think, worry, getting your phone blown up by a manipulative, emotionally abusive ex.
+Trying to keep a healthy relationship with you twin flame
+Go without eating for 2-3 days at a time in hopes that your kids have enough food for themselves
+pick kids up, get home, put them to bed and then do school work until you pass out only to repeat said cycle all over again
