((Oh my. ))
((The first to respond to the cry, will be rewarded))
Yale hesitantly nods. “Should we check it out?” She signs.
Naesala listened again, hearing the crying once more. It sounds like it’s coming from across the water. she thought to herself.
She stood and thought for a moment, before realizing there was a dock a mere couple feet from where the three stood. Without waiting for a response from the siblings, she walked over and flipped over one of the sand covered boats. She pushed it into the water, climbing in.
It wouldn’t take long to cross the lake, but it was easier to boat across then to walk around.

The crying still continued.
After paddling for some time, she finally made it to the other side of the lake. She got out of the boat, and walked through the shallow water as she pushed it back up onto the shore. She stretched her shoulders for a moment before listening for the crying noise.
She pinpointed what direction she thought it was coming from, and began walking that way.

The crying came from behind a log. There layed a large female griffin, its side teared up from a battle in the sky. By it were a baby griffin crying over its dying mother. The mother did its best to comfort her young one, in her dying moment.
Naesala gasped quietly, and was unsure if she should she attempt to approach them.
She crouched down, trying to make herself look small and non-threatening. She wasn’t exactly the type of elf that worked with animals, but she could try.

((The picture of the baby griffin is so adorable omg.))
((Took time to find the smuggest mother****er, found it))
((Well I love it 😂))
As Naesala aproached them, the mother began growling. She stood up, though it took greatly on her decreasing vitality. She limped infront of her offspring, ready to defend it till death.
Naesala heard the mother growl, and watched as she struggled to stand.
She lowered herself more to the ground, until she was practically laying in the grass. She lowered her ears in a sign of submission, and really hoped that the mother wouldn’t attack.

The mother began to slowly limp over to Naesala, but fell halfway. She struggled to stand, no matter how hard she tried, her legs have given up. Now the only hope for her child, is that the stranger is friendly. The mother looked at Naesala with judging, but defeated eyes.
Naesala returned the griffins gaze and gave the mother a small smile. She moved forward slowly, bringing herself closer to the mother and the baby. She studied the mothers side, trying to see if there was anything she could do.
The mother putted all her hope and faith in that the stranger were kind. The griffen let out at sigh, its last breath of air, the breath of life. Her body turned cold. The young one placed its frontclaws on it dead mother, in a hopelessly attempt to wake her up. Tears fell from the griffins eyes, it screeched in grief.
((Boi I opened that video in the middle of class and I had a stroke trying to close it.))
((Lol)
She rested her hand gently on the mother, and felt the cold creeping in. She frowned, and returned her hand, looking down at the baby as it cried in grief. She was unsure of what to do, but she knew she couldn’t leave it out here alone.
“Probably.” He would say as he picks up Odysseus and started toward the exit of the hallway.
