Nalani leaned against the tree and looked up at the sky." I think I've had enough excitement for tonight." She smiled.
"Same here."
"I didn't mean to drag you into all of this."
"It's fine. I somehow get into predicaments amyway."
"I try to stay out of trouble but it doesn't work." She laughed.
"I know how you feel."
"Well what's the point of living if you have no danger in your life?"
"I know, right? That's what make life fun." Pichuun smiled.
"You haven't lived until you've come close to death. That's what my teacher always taught me." Nalani smiled.
"That's true. On a different note, besides white magic, what other skills do you possess?"
"I'm not sure. My teacher didn't teach me much before my parents and my brother chased me off."
Pichuun paused for a moment. "I can teach you."
Nalani looked at him." Teach me?"
"Yes. Do you see anyone else around here?"
"No. It's just....no one has ever been around me enough to want to teach me."
"I do, though. It would be nice to have a student."
"Thanks I guess." She rubbed the back of her head.
"You're welcome. It will start tomorrow. For now, get some rest."
"How can I? I haven't gone to sleep...about 5 days." Nalani laughed.
Pichuun laughed. "Just try at least, then."
