It seems Scuti won't ever find that everlasting peace that King Sigallan, at least not for years to come. Since the day the old demon king had been executed, the nation has seen nothing but war after war, riot after riot. Humans against humans, demons against humans, someone's always against someone. We've seen this cycle a million times and it only results in more bloodshed. Scuti survived two civil wars, so will the third one finally be the one that destroys the nation? Will the third civil war finally bring peace to the nation? Sir Alexander Montgomery VII certainly believes peace will follow the war; he believes that the concentration camps that his father had thrown the innocent demons in was a breach of their personal rights and a violation of Axelia's laws, believing that war would be the only way to open the eyes of those who were deceived.

Over the past few seven years, Alexander had gotten together a small, personal militia and the support of millions, so surely he had enough to truly begin the civil war, right? Though, before that could happen he needed to launch attacks at a few major cities, specifically the five prison cities. If he could successfully free those imprisoned, he could likely boost his numbers exponentially, boosting his army's morale, which could make his attack on the capital all that more successful... though, it won't be easy, no war is easy after all. His father's army would likely be far better trained, have access to more effective equipment, and they'd likely be ready for anything that Alexander could throw their way. Him and his allies will have to stay on guard at all times, enemy soldiers will be on them the moment they down their guard. That's not even Alexander's biggest problem; Selene is two months pregnant with their second child and it's possible she could give birth during the middle of the war, leaving her and Alexander completely vulnerable.

When that happens, they'll need as much help as they can get, but war is never easy. By the time Selene gives birth, the war will likely be at its peak and certain death would literally be just around the corner. His father will not allow him or his rebels to relax for even a minute, denying them the chance to peacefully see their baby come into the world. What will become of Scuti following the civil war?

Where will you stand in the civil war? Will you join Alexander and help him free his nation or will you fight alongside his father and defeat the rebels? The choice is yours.

What I'm looking for is a small group of 3-6 people to join me in a wartime plot. The plot will obviously be taking place during Scuti's third civil war, so expect plenty of combat, blood, violence, and strong language. Due to Scuti's culture, you can expect a number of potentially triggering words, so be wary. Abuse, alcohol references, and suicide will be common themes, so take that into account as well. Your character's race does not matter, but realize that if you are anything but human, you will not be able to join Alexander's father due to his perception on the nonhumans. I require a minimum of one paragraph per post. Magic is allowed, but realize within this world it has limitations; each spell drains a little bit of energy from your character, so using it too much can cause harm to your character. In addition to the Montgomery family, I will be taking control of Mercenaries of Macot. I will not allow romance of any form to occur with any member of the Montgomery family, but it will be allowed with Kensuke, Darin, Krystal, and Kain, but don't let it take over the purpose of the RP. So a question about the army, is it gonna be led by nobles or are they gonna have a formal military with ranks and such?

The army led by Alexander's father is what you'd expect from any usual military; people of various rankings and skills, while Alexander's army is more or less just a ragtag group of rebels. There's no formal system within his, people cement their places in his army by showing dedication to the cause.

Gonna claim a spot here if ya don't mind, honey. I think Hunter and Ari could work for this. I think it could be interesting if the two ended up on different sides somehow, Hunter on Alex's and Ari on Alex's father's. I'll have to come up with a reason for Ari to be on that side, though

That could definitely be interesting, you'll have plenty of time to decide since I don't plan on involving his father's side until midway through the plot.
