Presently, an epic membership comes with an assortment of bonuses. We also have bonuses that can be purchased separately - permanent slots, extra pages.
While I would probably continue trying to keep stretching out my Epic anyway, I think it'd be nice if people had the option to, for a lower price, only purchase access to Epic template options. I figure this would run temporary, like Epics do, and so need to be refreshed. My thought was to allow them access to user-created templates (holy crap there's some cool ones by now!), the editor (so they can make use of services provided by those who make individual templates), and removal of ads from character pages (since I would expect custom stuff to potentially cause some issues; how is that handled if someone without an Epic views a character with a user-made template, anyway?) but not from the rest of the site. I don't think the ability to customize their player page needs to be included, since that really is a separate thing.
I think this would be good by making some of those user-made templates more accessible and believe it would encourage more people to use the services of the folks making templates for the site and/or to start learning/practicing CSS. Granted, it might lead to more eyesore templates too... but eh, more people can learn better design choices from the extra feedback they would likely get. ^^

Love, love, LOVE this suggestion. Now I do make use of the extra character slots that come with epic, however when I first purchased epic it was solely because I wanted to access the templates.
