The elements are at war. The war started when Chachiri, the beast of the sea and ruler of the army of the tide, decided Lotal, the beast of the inferno and ruler of the army of the blaze, was an opponent to him, thinking he had attacked his territory when it was really just a normal fire. The battle rages on still, and the other elements have joined in the fight, causing chaos everywhere. You have received a message from each of the teams at the same time, offering you a place in their ranks, with a gift prepared for you if you join them. Your part in the war begins now.
Magic is very common. Magic-tech, grand floating islands, forests that sing, magical creatures may be an every-day occurrence.
Modern
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.

magic powers ARE allowed, but, well, i would much prefer you only use one element, as this is the elements fighting eachother and it would break the dynamics...
