Alezander rubbed the back of his head, trying not to show he was blushing. "No, it's nothing too special. I hope the food at least tastes alright."

He escorted her to the chair, and pulled it out for her to sit in.

Zalia smiled at him happily. "I'm sure it tastes great!" She walked over to her chair with him, and once he pulled it out she sat down. "Thank you." She blushed. She felt so much like a princess! She just hoped that what she picked to wear was nice enough for the occasion. "How did you ever think this up, Alezander? It's...it's so beautiful."

The whole scene, with Alezander right there in the middle of it...it just made her breathless.

He looked away for a moment, somewhat embarrassed by her words. He had wanted to make it special, and he was glad she enjoyed it. And to see her doing just that, pleased him. "I'm glad you like it," he said, making his way over to his own seat. "I just wanted to give you something that you deserve."

Zalia smiled at him. "I love it." she promised. She blushed brightly when he said that she deserved it. Did she really deserve something so wonderful? SOMEONE so wonderful? Watching him sit down, she spoke. "Alezander. I love you." It was probably the first time she'd said it with such confidence. It was always a soft and timid declaration, as if the words burdened him. But now...now, she had confidence.

Her words took him aback a bit. Not their meaning, no, not that at all. But they way she had said it. They way she looked at him when she said it. He couldn't help but smile, feeling that Zalia had grown a bit. She was becoming much more confident, and he was glad.

"I love you, too," he said, and a rare thing, a flush grew across his cheeks. And he felt it, with what little blood he had in him pushing to show his timid side.

Zalia smiled as he returned the words of affection. She had no doubt of it, none at all. But she so dearly loved to hear it! "I know you do. And I'm really glad." She giggled softly, then once he was ready, she'd begin to eat with him. The meal was amazing, of course. He may not be able to taste it anymore but it was all very delicious to her. It was like she was lost in time, as if the night stretched forever, just she and Alezander. It made her so happy.

Once the meal was done and she'd told him for the fifteenth time how delicious it was, Zalia smiled warmly at him. "So what shall we do now, Alezander?"

He stood, after having mostly moved his food around on his plate, and held out his hand to her. "Let's enjoy the night air, just a little longer," he said, with a soft smile.

When she would take his hand, he would pull her close, and begin to hum a soft tune as he would slowly begin to dance with her.

Zalia took his hand and smiled back at him, though she blushed as he pulled her close and they...started to dance! She wasn't good at dancing, it wasn't anything she'd done much. But she did her best to follow along, staying close. Even though she had to focus and make sure she didn't step on his toes, she found herself...enjoying it. Enjoying the moment. It was so wonderful. So perfect.

"I wish the night would just last forever."

He chuckled a bit at her words, and continued humming, though his mind fell into thought as he did. He remembered her request, to turn her into a full vampire. Then all this could last forever. But, would she want it to really last forever? He often found times, when he had wished he could age like normal, and die of natural causes. He had never wanted to be like this. He had been tricked into it. But, he found it so baffling that Zalia would want it.

He shook his head a bit, deciding that they would discuss it later. He didn't want to ruin the moment they were having.

Zalia was oblivious to his deep, serious thoughts. She was just living the moment. Dancing with him. The person she loved and adored and was so happy with. She was dancing with him. She felt so special. It made her smile, and the smile just wouldn't go away as they moved together, swaying and smiling. "Alezander." she whispered, nuzzling against him. "Will you sleep with me again today?" She didn't want to have to part from him.

He raised his hand to the back of her head, and pet her hair lightly. "If you wish me to, then yes," he said, smiling to himself. He didn't mind it at all.

As they danced, if either of them had been watching off the balcony, they would have seen the rustling in the bushes, as a figure moved out of them, having been watching them the whole time they were up on the balcony.

Zalia's gaze was locked on Alezander, she smiled happily when he answered. "In my bedroom, again? Or will you finally let me in yours?" She stuck her tongue out at him and giggled, but it froze halfway through. She wasn't watching but she'd heard it. Her eyes moved towards the figure and she froze. "...hey! You! What are you doing here?" She let go of Alezander and moved to the edge of the balcony, eyes narrowing to pierce through the darkness and see who was there. "Who are you?"

Alezander gave her a look to counter her question of staying in his room, but he was quiet surprised when she turned from him. He made his way beside her, his eyes scanning out over the yard. After catching the culprit in his sights, he stood on the edge of the balcony.

"Wait here," he said quietly, and jumped off, fading into the shadows only to reappear on the ground. It was so graceful, that he made it seem like a natural thing anyone could do. He didn't waste anytime in dashing toward the person he had seen.

Zalia murmured an apology. She wouldn't listen. She vaulted over the balcony and landed in front of the culprit, so the person was cornered. "Who are you? Tell us now. You aren't allowed to be here, we'll call the police!" She glared at the person and put her hands on her hips, eyes narrowing.

Her perfect evening was ruined. She was...pretty mad.

The person, hidden my the shadows in a most unusual manner, just took a step back from them, and seemed to disappear. Alezander's eyes widened a bit, as he realized this person had vampiric abilities. He turned, his eyes glowing a bright red now, as he was pulling out his true nature, just attempting to sense this person. He turned back to Zalia.

"I told you to say there. We don't know who this person is, and if they attack you..." he turned his eyes, hearing something in the distance. He didn't finish his speech to her, as he took off into the shadows.

Zalia frowned a little. "I can protect my--" And then he was off. Shoulders slumping, she went around the house and in through the front door, locking it behind her. She shut and locked all the windows, then went upstairs and sat down on the floor in her room. Shadow came and curled up on her feet.

Zalia just sat there. She hated being left alone. Why couldn't she come with? Why couldn't she help? She wasn't a fullblood, but she wasn't helpless either! So much for that perfect evening. Instead of mad though...now she was just sad. She sighed and just sat on the floor of her room, waiting for Alezander to come back.

The house remained quiet for a long time, and not even noises from outside attempted to break the silence. She would wait on the floor for several minutes, until the front door opened down stairs with a loud, slow creak.

Zalia was on her feet in seconds, upsetting the poor bunny. She dashed down the stairs and threw the door open. "Alezander??" She was scared. Scared that he was hurt. That he was injured. Scared that something had happened.

But she was also scared...that it might not be him.

There appeared to be no one down stairs, not even at the door. Only the massive oak swaying slightly from the wind. At least it appeared that way. But the moment she had stepped close enough, arms wrapped around her, and a face buried itself into her hair.

And it may have taken her a moment, but she was sure to realize this person was not quite as tall as Alezander.

Zalia froze as someone wrapped their arms around her and treated her so affectionately. She was about to sigh in relief, when she realized the person holding her was not Alezander. She twisted out of the person's arms and elbowed whoever it was in the gut.

"GET OUT!! Whoever you are get out of here!" She was tense. She of course had twisted to view the intruder. "You aren't welcome here!"
