Adam: "i'm guessing... not impressed enough... to leave?"
"Nope." He sighed. "Look, neither of us are going to win this easily, so how about you get out of the way, and I don't have to cut you in half?"
Adam: "why is this so important to you?"
He sighed. "None of your business, kid."
Adam: "It is my business!"
He raised an eyebrow. "And why exactly is that?"
Adam: "It's my job to not let people past!"
"Why aren't you in the super-important tournament?"
Adam: "I LOST IN THE FIRST ROUND, OK?!"
"Then what makes you think you'll beat me?"
Adam: "I have to try. Besides, i forfeited."
"Then why are you so worked up about it?"
Adam: "..."
He shrugged. "Not my problem."
Adam: "i'm not the only one who will try and stop you, you know."
"Yeah, I know. So how about you let them stop me."
Adam: "They would kill you, then probably kill me."
"..." He sighed.
"Look, how about this, you tell me if you know who's mana this is, and if you do, i'll leave." He pulled out a small vial of the foreign mana/aura.
Adam: He squinted at the vial. "Yeah, i- wait, how do i trust you."
