slysha stares at him hard then tilts her head like she did not understand him

Katrina heads back out to the garden, needing some fresh air. She finds her usual tree and leans against it, still standing. She let out a sigh of relief.

All the cats, along with Snowkit, all walk back to the garden in silence.

He sighed"You are a sad person, and you should feel sad"

Katrina spots the cats, but remains silent, sensing their shift in mood from even here.

Ever was sitting in her room, lounging in front of the window.
She was propping herself up with her elbow, watching the action unfold from where she was.

okami flew down and landed in a plum of dust in the garden

The cats all walk to the garden.
"Snowkit," Honeypelt meows without looking at her. "What happened?"
Snowkit shifts uncomfortably. "W-Well, we were in the nursery... and then Goldenheart came in... He ttried to hurt us, but we ran away. But then Gingerkit...." Snowkit trails off and she lets out a sad meow.

Katrina overheard some of the conversation but stayed silent. She felt awful for what had happened, but knew it wasn’t the time for her to interrupt.

"You..."he sighed and shook his head"You aren't the smartest, are you?"

Snowkit falls into a lying position.
Honeypelt walks over and lies down next to her. She licks her ear.

Katrina sighs quietly to herself before leaving the tree and continuing down the path, deciding to find Johnny and see if he had heard yet.

Johnny is at the lake on the dock. He stares into the water, smiling.

slysha just stares at him and smiles

Katrina continues winding her way down the path until it ended and stopped at the lake. She spotted Johnny sitting on the dock and looked down for a moment, taking a deep breath before walking down to join him.

Johnny looks at Kat. "Hey!"

“Hi.” She says quietly, sitting down beside him. She hesitantly rests her head on his shoulder.

"Whats do funny?"
