The cats encounter Honeypelt, talking quietly to Blackstreaks while Snowkit lies down on the ground with her chin on her paws. She meows sadly.
"What happened?" Brightsky asks.
Honeypelt looks over. "...Goldenheart killed Gingerkit."
Hazelstone and Brightsky gasp.
Iceheart jumps. "What?!"
Darkfur looks down at the ground. "She will be with StarClan now...."
All the cats look down at the ground in silence.

Katrina heads back out to the garden, needing some fresh air. She finds her usual tree and leans against it, still standing. She let out a sigh of relief.
All the cats, along with Snowkit, all walk back to the garden in silence.
