Ren rolled her eyes.

“Well, if you’re just going to be grumpy and stay silent, then I bid you farewell.” She said brightly to the girl, standing up and giving her a mock bow before leaving.

“Wait! I’m sorry. I guess I just had a rough time getting over something recently.” She said.

She stopped and smiled to herself, spinning back around on the heel of her boot to face Ren.

Ren sighed.”I don’t know what you want me to talk to you about.” She said.

“You can talk about anything you like, I may know everything one day anyways. ‘‘Tis in my job description.” She answered, sitting back down.

“Well aske me questions.” She said.

“What has you so upset?” She asked, continuing her finger taping.

Ren sighed.”My boyfriend broke up with me and then left the school. He said he couldn’t see someone he didn’t like at the school.” She said.

“So why be all mopey about it? So what, he left, sounds like a jerk anyways. Why should that bring down your life?” She asked, staring off into space.

Ren shrugged.”I don’t know.”

“Just move on.” Taeraya said, shrugging again. Her eyes moved away from the ceiling and back to Ren.

Ren sighed.”Anymore questions?”

“Nope, that’s all I wanted to know.” She smirked.

“Then there isn’t a reason for me to talk.”

Taeraya nodded, staying silent and continuing her finger tapping. Her grey eyes wandered around the mess hall.

“So... are you new here?” She asked.
