Darkness: “I would presume a miniature war.”
"Huh. Could I help?"
Darkness: “You don’t know if that thing effects your magic, do you?”
He srugged. "Nope."
Moon Cipher wrote:
"Okay, here's what we do. Taeral, are you willing to go somewhere with me?"
Darkness: “You shouldn’t do anything dangerous until you know what that.. thing, does. And I’m fairly sure a war is up there in the list of things classified as dangerous.”
He sighed. "Yeah, but.... you're right. Let's see what it does!" He stabbed his sword into the sand and swung his red-coated arm at it.
Darkness: “DON’T DO THAT!!!”
The red substance gathered where his arm was about to hit the blade, stopping it from going more than a centimeter deep. "Whoa..."
Darkness: “Never do something that stupid ever again!” She slapped him.
He rubbed his face, muttering. "Sorry, geez."
Darkness: “it is kinda cool though, squishy boy.”
He raised an eyebrow. "Squishy boy?"
Darkness: She prodded him, not quite getting the concept of personal space. “Squishy!”
He slapped her hand away. "Let's see how it affected me." He pulled a rune out of his bag and activated it, a spark of electricity appearing and fizzling out afterwards. "Huh, that's... unusual."
Darkness: “Strange.”
"Maybe it's broken?" He tried another rune, with the same result. "Huh..."
Darkness: she shuffled back a bit.
He looked at her. "What?"
Darkness: “S-sorry. Runes make me nervous. You understand, right?”
