"As you're going about your daily routine, you end up coming across two people, a young man and woman about the same age of eighteen to nineteen years old, in a heated argument. You eventually recognize the girl as Esmeralda Wilkins, a young author who's starting to gain quite a bit of popularity through the books she writes. Eventually, the young woman storms off holding... a baby? Ah, it must be her younger sibling and her parents just had her watch him for a little bit. Though the next day, you see Esmeralda and the same man arguing yet again and are able to deduce that the baby... is Esmeralda's... and that the young man is the baby's father. He wants back into Esmeralda's life to supposedly help care for the kid, but he doesn't even seem to be even slightly concerned by the fact his son's bawling his eyes out and is frightened by the noise of the argument. Only Esmeralda pays mind to this fact and walks away to quiet the infant down. Yet, it's also clear she's struggling to raise the boy herself. Though, she doesn't seem to want any help with it. Will you try to help this young single mother out, or will you just leave her to face her problems on her own?"
Heyo! I'm simply looking for an rp for my newest character Esmeralda since she could use some fleshing out. If you're interested, please take note of these things:
Setting: Preferably modern and non-fantasy, but we could also go medieval and/or fantasy.
Plot: This little blurb is all I really have for plot. I like to just get the rp started and see where it goes, but if you want, we can discuss some plot details beforehand.
Drama: Tons. I. Love. Drama. Ic drama that is! (Ooc drama is a bit of a different story) I don't know what it is, but I just love to see what happens with different dramatic situations
Grammar: Please try to have good grammar. I'm no grammar Nazi, but I would like to be able to understand what my partner is trying to say
Post length: At least enough for me to give a response to. A paragraph is preferred, though I understand if you can't always write that much.
Character types I'm looking for: Preferably human-like, though they can be non-human.
Romance/Smut: Romance is unlikely as Esmeralda's wary about relationships due to her past, but it still could happen. Also, sorry but I prefer to have MxF romances since I am used to that. I don't have anything against the LGBT community, but I'm just more familiar with MxF. Smut will not be done due to my age, though fade to black is always an option. Your character must be 18+ to be able to do fade to black.
Where we will rp: I prefer pm, but we can go with forums if you want. Oh! These will also be 1x1!
Response speed: Sporadic. I have school and homework, so responses will be slow. I do try to post at least once a day. If I don't reply right away, please don't send me messages bugging me about it! It kills my enjoyment of the rp.
OOC Chatter: I do like to chat with my rp partners OOC, even if it's something as simple as a "hey, wouldn't it be cool if..." moment or me laughing at a funny situation, so please don't get scared off if I all of a sudden pop up with those OOC parenthesis. I promise, I don't bite and am a very friendly person.

With that said, would Charles do in a modern fantasy setting? Magic won't run the plot, it's more so that he can "fit in" a bit.
