The plot:
She was simply sitting next to a pond, minding her own business. She was trying to get away from everything. Before she knows it, she feels a tight pulling and is now standing next to the same lake as before, except everything is different. There is a man near her now and around her there are people working fields, and merchants calling out things, as if it were downtown Victorian ages. They must figure out a way back to their time or else lose their lives in the 20th century life.

Skipping a rock across the water, she stood there dazed, waiting to feel something. She felt hollow to the bone and as she looked into the water, she could see it in her eyes that there wasn't anything there except maybe a black eye coming on. Daisy sighed and pushed a strand of wavy blond hair behind her ear and slowly lowered herself to the ground. It was then that she sucked in a breath, grabbing her side in which he kicked her repeatedly.
Daisy was use to it. In fact, she's had worse. At one point, he had put her in the hospital having broken her nose and cheekbone. She squeezed her eyes shut as she shakily held as still as possible. Breath in, breath out was her mantra and she repeated it multiple times before the pain went to dull ache. As she opened her eyes again, she could see that clouds were starting to roll in and the smell of rain was coming to her senses. She removed her hand after a few moments, resting it onto the cold hard ground to hold herself up. Looking around, her blue eyes studied the area that she knew well. Rolling green hills, a lake at just about the right size to go swimming in on a nice hot day, and no one around to bother her. Daisy grimaced, knowing sooner or later she would need to go home and face her demon.
Thunder rolled and lightning struck in a distant place. The wind was starting to pick up, whipping her hair around her face. With no jacket on, it was starting to get a little chilly. Daisy stood slowly, making sure to try to keep her upper half straight unsuccessfully. Her inner thoughts as she stood there silently waiting for the storm to come sweep her away, were on the fact that her father was hopefully not home still, waiting for her to return. She always dreaded this part of the abuse as he would apologize and say it will never happen again. A shiver racked her body. The thunder seemed to be right above her and as she looked up, a cloud was starting to swirl as if a tornado were forming. Daisy shoved her hands into her pockets and started to walk away until lighting struck closely, only a few feet away. The heat seemed to be blistering and the smell horrid. The spot around the lighting was as black as a black hole.
"Woah." She squeaked and jumped back, landing on her butt. Hurting all over, Daisy cursed slightly. Her body was clinched in pain and there wasn't much she could do. She pulled herself up and started to power walk as fast as she could without going into a full on run. Her right arm hugged her ribs and tears were starting to sprang to her eyes. Daisy avoided looking back as if it were the plague. As she power walked, she felt something vibrate and then suddenly she felt the heat again and knew it was closer now. And then it was in front of her as if it were following her. She was scared and had no other choice to run since this was becoming some sort of freak accident. She was starting to freak out.
Daisy tried to think back to see if anyone else has had this happen to them. Although she tried, she couldn't come up with anything. And then suddenly she blacked out, as if someone had hit her over the head.
Coming to, there was a throbbing to the back of her head. She couldn't feel from the neck down and it startled her. 'Maybe I'm dead..' she thought. It was a possibility. It felt like she was floating in thin air. Not hearing, seeing or feeling. The last thing she remembered was the feel of the wind rushing through her hair and the thought that the lighting was actually following her. Daisy smiled at such a silly thought. With a whoosh, sound was coming back to her and she could hear the call of names and someone speaking in a different language. 'Must be someone from down the block.' she thought momentarily.
That was until she opened her eyes and took in a shuddering breath. This was not the same place she was just at. That smell, oh god. Smells like horse shit and she reached to plug her nose, but someone held her down. "No, m'lady. Would be best fer you to stay still." a woman's voice cooed. And then someone else yelled "Hurry, another. Thar is another.". It sounded like a young boy and Daisy started to panic.
"Where am I?" Daisy shifted her eyes from side to side, but mostly everything was cloudy and could only view shapes. "Let me up, please." She whimpered. What was happening?";
