It was certainly an unlikely happenstance that the dumpster in which Ash had elected to stay the night was occupied by another person. The authorities had picked up her scent again after about a week of safety, and unless they were peaceable she'd need to ditch this place and head elsewhere.
Whether that had to be done, though, remained to be seen...
So yeah, basically. Ash hops into an empty dumpster/skip as a sleeping/hiding place, and your character happens to be currently occupying it for... whatever reason. I don't really care where it goes, but if you somehow manage to twist it into romance I'd be pleasantly surprised.
