Another idea for Menedor because I love this character.
So this idea is set in and around a large forest, a village near the edge of that forest and the grassy plains around the both of them.
This area is very prone to bandits, wild animals and sometimes big monsters attacking. There aren't many, if any at all, Warriors or fighters to defend the village from these things. The villagers mostly hide in basements and simply rebuild the houses and other buildings when they're destroyed. It's not a great life, but the soil is fertile, the plains are ripe with game and the timber from the forest is strong.
Recently however, someone has moved into the forest. This someone has been coming out to rain arrows down on those who attack the village. Many villagers have claimed to have caught glimpses of the stranger. Incredibly fast. Agile. Covered in fur clothing. Muddy and dirty.
Folks have began to speculate about this person. Some say they were sent by the Gods, a reward for their perseverance in trying to live in this place. Some say they're a phantom of good karma. Some say they're just a really good person. But they all agree on one thing, the name they give. They have come to be known as 'The Unseen Protector'
But no one has seen them properly. Until you move in/come out of your house one day. You spy a young Elven man squatting high in a tree on a large branch, above the village. He gives you a wink and disappears back into the shadows of the trees.
In the split second you see him, your curiosity (and other things if you want that kind of RP) is piqued. You'd like to meet him. See him up close. Hear him talk. Maybe you could persuade him to move into the village, or at the very least, visit. Maybe he deserves a reward or some sort of recognition for taking the village under his watch. Or maybe you'd just like to get to know him.
You decide that you can't exactly wait for him to come to you. It's obvious he won't come down into the village of his own accord. You have to go to him.
