Greetings and salutations!
In recent weeks, I have become fond of playing the traditional nerd game, Dungeons & Dragons. However, the adventures in which I have been involved have all taken rather weird or otherwise undesirable turns. For instance, in one of these, the DM decided to bring aliens and spaceships into our previously medieval session, which somewhat murdered my interest in that particular adventure. So, what I am looking for is 3-4 other like-minded players, and a DM (as I am not nearly experienced enough to act as one) to join me for weekly sessions in a traditional D&D campaign, in the world already provided us by WotC. I would love it if the session could be decently RP-oriented, and not simply Fighters and Rogues stomping mobs of NPCs for EXP, and I encourage any potentially interested players to create characters with personality and depth. I shall certainly try my very best to reciprocate! In any case, once everything is set up, I will be turning everything over to our DM, and he/she/they will have full control of story and setting and whatnot.
Please do PM me if you are at all interested, and so long as you are mostly available for at least one day every week, or every other week. The RP will be either voice or text-based, depending on majority vote, and will take place over Discord, making use of any available materials. We'll also probably be needing a book, as I fear I do not have one.
