In the bustling downtown streets, a small antique shop sits sandwiched between a craft shop and a community building, and it faces a comic book store across the street. The sign hanging above the door simply reads "Antiques" in faded gold lettering. Upon entering, a comfortable warmth greets the customer, accompanied by the scent of rosemary and mint. Before they get the chance to browse the shelves, a voice greets them from behind the counter. A young, copper-haired individual with soft silver eyes approaches.
"Would you happen to be answering my classified ad?"
Mu is looking for friends! He runs an antique shop with doubles as a magical item and potion shop on the side. A supernatural air seems to cling to him and his shop, and he hopes this city can finally be the place he settles down for good.
Your character doesn't have to be applying to work at his shop. If not, the misunderstanding could be a good opportunity to meet!
Mu is open to romance, but it's not preferred. If it happens, though, he is strictly [m/m].
Mu is also open to AU's and different time periods, that is, I'm flexible to altering the setting and some of his history. Not much of his physical person, though.

I think Nito would work better and a supplier of magical artifacts. But if not many people join then by all means, try to talk him into working with Mallory.

As I mentioned, your character does not have to be an employee ^^ so whatever occupation is fine
Also, this isn't meant for group rp, it'd be 1x1, I should have mentioned that. So, if you're still cool with that, shoot me a DM ^^

Would you accept one of my kids as an RP partner? I feel you're probably looking for adult characters, but I like Mu and would like to get a chance to throw another character at him.
My character Kiro bounces off older characters fairly well. He's not really one for antiques, but he's always looking to make a bit of pocket money to fuel his computer tinkering addiction.
Alternatively, I could have Deril try and steal some stuff from the shop. The kid's a real handful and I could easily imagine him getting Yuuki quite mad. If you'd prefer, I could use him in his naga form... I'm still looking for an opportunity to test that out.
I also have two characters in desperate need of development. I'm willing to put Mickel forward... perhaps Mu could have gotten ahold of an antique of religious significance to angelkind that Mickel happens to be searching for. The other character I need development for is T'joa, but... well they're probably a bit too weird for this scenario. I mean well... maybe their human form isn't as weird, but it's still a little on the side that might make anyone outside of a horror- or monster-esque expectation uncomfortable.
