"there's a city high up in the sky, in the firelands," he said matter-of-factly
"Um... I know why I was going where I was going, but no long know how to get there. I'm an emissary. I had a message to deliver, then those wolf things attacked me. I ran for about ten miles in many different directions. I have no idea where to go now."
"Well I don't know where to go from here to tell the truth."
"Blanca, do you want to see the city I mentioned earlier?" Aylen asked. He didn't care where they'd go, he was travelling anyway. And he hadn't been to the firelands in a long time, so he just figured it was a nice opportunity.
"I'd like to," Nomti raised his hand a bit, "A floating city sounds interesting."
"Sure, but it would seem kind of hard to get to a city, in the sky." She pointed up. "Wouldn't we need a ride there?"
"There's airships going to and from the city." he said. "And even though I hate anything that flies, we'll have too. And I enjoy the city, so it'll be worth it."
"Neat," Nomti grinned and his long ears wiggled happily, "There's only one airship where I'm from. It's absolutely massive, about the size of a pyramid, but it's the only one."
"Well, I'm pretty sure none of the airships in the firelands are that large - except for one. But there definately are hundreds of them in the capital alone."
"Yeah, Pharaoh had the choice between a fleet of smaller airships or one massive one given the amount of wood we had. He opted for the giant one."
"I'm not sure if that was wise, but allright," he replied.
"It looks really cool if nothing else. The hull is too thick for almost anything to pierce and because it's so big, a broadside shot from it could probably take down a flag ship."
"You guys that much into mechanics?" She raised an eyebrow at them, somewhat ammused.
"Only if it's stuck on the ground," Aylen jokingly said
"Not at all. I understand none of it, I just think it looks cool," Nomti shrugged.
Blanca rolled her eyes. "Then shall we be on our way?" She stood up.
"This road-" Aylen pointed to the right, "- will take us to the next village. We should be able to make it there before nightfall."
Nomti just smiled softly and rolled his eyes at Blanca's remark, "Of course... You're a wonderful navigator Aylen," he commented and patted the blind boy's back.
"well, I cán see everything inside 1 kilometer in every direction," Aylen said, chuckling. "Plus, I've been there two days ago."
"So where were you heading before we all bumped into each other?" She looked over at Aylen.
