"Then why don't we go there first then? I bet that would make you very happy Nomti." She looked over at him with a warm smile. "It's not every day that you get this opporitunity anyway."

Aylen shook his head. "We could, but that would mean a detour of at least two months, Blanca. The fire city is only a week away from here."

His eats perked up hopefully when Aylen brought up this Mage, then dropped again, "I don't think that would work. There must always be 100 Anubites. Someone else cannot have my fate," he let out a soft whimper, "I... I'd like to... I'm different from the others. I dream of settling, of raising a family, of having a home... But I cannot, the power of the gods is more powerful than the petty magic of a Mage."

Blanca frowned and looked at the ground. "I may have just met you guys but everyone deserves to have a chance at their dreams right? And Detours just make it all the more fun!" She looked back up at them.

"Don't underestimate this mage." Aylen smiled. "He may be a recluse now, but he's been archmage to several kings. He also taught me how to see again, even if it's through my feet. He can turn you, for sure. He can even alter the victim's appearance if you like. In any case, Anubis nor the anubites will ever again be able to track you, all of their efforts will lead them to the man who's taken your place."

"Anubis is the God of the Dead, he bears the scales of judgement. He is omniscient, like Ra and Osiris. It won't matter. He will find me even if it was possible, but I am not a mortal creature..."

"Yeah... that's the part I haven't told you yet. The process will take away your immortality." Aylen said.

"I'm not immortal persay, but I'm not mortal, in the same way a Demigod isn't a mortal."

"Still... isn't it worth the try?" Aylen asked.

Blanca listened to them.

"I guess it couldn't hurt," Nomti conceded and kicked the dirt with a foot paw then smiled at both of them.

"Maybe something for as soon as we get Blanca to the firelands then." Aylen smiled.

(ooc: I think this is pretty good stuff for a different RP!)

"Well... Maybe. I actually do have a mission to be doing, but a detour won't matter to much."

"So where are we going first then?" She wanted to actually do both at the same time but it wasn't like she had a twin.

"We can go to this floating city first. I get a feeling it's a lot more important."

"You think going to a city is more important than your destiny?" She looked at him a little confused but there was something that was making her feel something was in the floating city.

Aylen picked in. "You say you need to go to a floating city, well, to the firelands. yet you don't know why. I think that itself is pretty important. It probably involves some sort of magic - but I've never seen it before. Either that, or it's your destiny. Either way, it's pretty important we get this done first."

Blanca looked over at Aylen and sighed. "Fine." A little white cat passed by her feet and left to go to the port with the flying airships.

Nomti looked at the cat and growled; demigod or not, he was still part dog and didn't like cats very much.

Aylen laughed. "Remind me not to find a cat anthro girlfriend for you!"
