Every century a new ruler is chosen to rule the land of Sariae from the sky. First the element of Water is the ruler, then Air, Earth, and Fire then back to water. Others want to find the temple for themselves and rule with a non-element. Some have tried to rule the land with blood and death, while others have tried to rule with prosperity and life, but the land was never at peace if it was not an element. The temple moves all the time to keep it from being found by the wrong people with terrible ambitions and the land of Sariae moves with it, which is why it has become know as the 'Mirage land' to many.

This year is the year of fire but the new ruler won't be able to make it on their own...

A young girl followed a troddened path on the side of a field. She had been walking for days on end without stopping for anything. She was desperate to find what she was looking for but she wasn't sure what sthat was. She took a canteen out of her bag and took a swig of water then put it back. She looked up at the sky and knew that the thing or place she was looking for had something to do with the sky. Her necklace glowed a little when she looked up at the sky. When she woke up days before, she had found the necklace around her neck, but never remembered putting it on before. She sighed and continued to walk. "What am I looking for again?" She looked at the sky every once in a while to try and remember.

Aylen had been resting for a while now, leaning into a thick oak tree. The fields before him were a nice switch from the forest, as the wind blew freely onto his face. He took a deep breath before getting up again. It was then that he felt the vibrations. His mind automatically began disciphering them. "Small female... probably about 1000 meters away from here... alone." He muttered. He decided that she was probably no threat, so he just stood still against the tree, in full view, waiting for her to reach him.

She shook her head and returned her gaze to the field infront of her. She froze when she saw a firgue of what she thought was a male but couldn't tell because of how far he was from her. After a bit, she cotinued forward and soon enough, she was only a couple feet away from him. She looked up at him hesitantly. "Hello?"

Aylen, despite his obvious blindness, turned to face her and smiled. "Hello there."

Blanca smiled and looked at the cloth in place of his eyes. She cocked her head slightly at this but shrugged. "Why are you out here?"

"I was just resting here. I was about to move on, but then I saw you coming."

"Saw? Not to be rude, but how could you see me with that cloth covering your eyes?" Even though she was pretty sure he couldn't see her, she motioned to her face. She only knew one person that covered their eye one time and she never understood why some people did that.

Suddenly there were howls, feral, hungry howls and the sounds of branches and twigs breaking.
Nomti sprinted as fast as he could away from the pack of wolves... At least they looked like wolves but every so often he felt a spike of some kind hit him in the back and by now he had about 20 large, porcupine-like needles protruding from his bare, furred back.
"H-ello!?" he called out with a hint of relief once he saw the two, "P-please help!" he cried as he skidded to a stop in front of them and turned to face the wolve creatures.

The girl looked over at the wolves and felt terrified. "What?!" She whimpered to herself. A large poenix made of flame appeared and let out a long, ear screeching sqwauk. It shot fire at the wolve creatures, burning some up and scaring the others away. As quickly as it appeared, it dissapeared into thin air, leaving a puff of smoke. The girl hadn't moved the whole time and wondered what had just happened.

Aylen smiled at her comment. "Oh this?" he asked, pointing at the cloth. "True, I can't see. At least, not the way you do!" He then turned towards the forest. "Something is coming."

As Nomti broke out and started saying something about needing help, Aylen had already turned back towards the tree line.
"There's 21 of them, one of them big. A Dire wolf, probably." It must'e been weird for Blanca and Nomti to keep hearing him talk about things he 'can't see', but he'd explain later. Three large wolves ran out of the treeline and towards Aylen. Out of nowhere, three large throwig knives appeared in his right hand. He swung his arm over his head and then forward in a quick, fluent motion. The three knives left his hand at the same time, and turned in such a corner that all three of the wolves recieved one knife between the eyes. Before, they'd dropped to the ground, two curved blades slid down his sleeves and into his hand. He turned his head to the others.
"Do you want me to do this alone, or does anyone feel the need of fighting along?" he asked, smiling.

Not long after, he felt fire graze over his head and 'saw' how several other wolves dropped dead to the ground. "What's this...?" he muttered.

Nomti was extremely startled when the massive Phoenix appeared. He nearly fell to his knees when the creature squawked, the pain was so great in his ears long ears.
"Oh lord," he whimpered and his legs shuddered. When the fire bird disappeared he just looked bewilderedly at Blanca, "How did you do that!?"

The girl shrugged. She watched as some wolves by the forest line just stood there, not moving or attempting to charge at them, only staring at them.
"I honestly have no idea. That happened the other day to." She looked up at the spot where the smoked was then back at the guys.

As they talked, the 21st wolf walked out of the woods. It was indeed a dire wolf, just as Aylen had predicted. "Watch it guys, that one won't go down as easy."

These wolves were odd though, even for a dire wolf. It's tail went rigid and large spikes of fur, like the ones in Nomti's back took shape from the fur and it flicked it's tail, sending several spikes towards them.
Now that he had support though, Nomti leaped into action, his two cycles dancing in his hands and he cut the spikes in half in the air.

Aylen drew his bow. He aimed, but then suddenly switched his aim. Arrow after arrow flew from his string, hitting the smaller wolves who were just watching the spectacle. He figured he could better take them out now, while they were distracted.

Blanca stared at the spikes as they drew closer. She ducked under the spikes that flew past her head and moved to the right instantly as more spikes came at them. Some spike in midair burnt up and fell to the ground, catching little patches of grass on fire aswell. Usually, Blanca would've been scared of the fire, but she stood there completely calm, as if there was no dire wolf.

Nomti leaped at the big one, his two curved blades spinning in his fingers and he embedded them both into its skull then cut off its head.

Aylen dodged a couple of spikes and finished of the rest of the wolves. One of them came running t his flank, but he simple took an arrow and in one fluent motion, threw it aside. The arrow flew towards the wolf in a straight line for several meters, and embedded itself in its eye. The wolf dropped to the ground, dead. Seeing Nomti had finished the dire wolf, he dispelled his bow and leant back into a tree. "That wasnt't too hard," he remarked.
