"Ayup," he waved and started walking towards the exit.

She followed him until they were outside of the shop.

Outside, a large Ford pickup truck was waiting to pick up Andrew. He waved once to shade and then hopped in.
Later that night, he was listening to music, just laying on his bed.

She had to walk home that night because her father, who was going to pick her up, had to work late. She was on her bed, drawing a picture of two wolves with 3 little pups, she gently removed the napkin out other shirt pocket with Andrew's number on it and pulled out her phone and texted Andrew.
Text: 'Hey Andrew, it's Shade!! '

A few minutes later he responded with "Hello."

She smiles at this text and looks at her door to make sure her mom wasn't going to burst in.
Text: 'How are you?'

"Could be a lot better ," he responds.

Text: 'Whats wrong?' she wondered if he was okay.

"Girl issues."

She looks a little put down by that because she really enjoys him and the fact that he might like someone else makes her want to cry but she decided to be nice and helpful. 'Do you want to talk about it?'

"Not really... How r u?" he asks

'I am' she paused to think how she was, she looked at her slightly bloody knee. 'I am good, thank you for asking Andrew.'

"Good to hear. Wanna hang out tomorrow?"

She smiled widely. 'You bet I do!'

"Where at?"

She think about what her parents are doing tomorrow. 'The park?......or my house, my dad will be here all day because my mother is going to the store with my brother...' she sent the message hesitantly.

"Which park?" he replied almost immediately.

She laughs so hard she almost falls off her bed. 'The one by flower shop?'

"What flower shop? Can you give me a street name?"
