Finn, being the naive lad he is, never believed that there were bullies in college. He thought, seeing as it's not school anymore, and the teachers treat you like adults, no one would be so immature as to pick on someone else. He's very disappointed when he's wrong.

So this idea is reliant on Finn turning a corner whilst taking a back way to get to his blacksmithing lesson, only to discover your character being harassed and bullied by one or maybe more people. It's up to you what they're doing and saying, but in every case, Finn is disappointed. And very angry. He abandons his usual shy and awkward personality for a minute to beat some maturity into this bully (or bullies). He doesn't care if he gets reprimanded for it, he knows that the college won't do much anyway.

This could lead basically anywhere. Strangers to friends, friends to closer friends and all that. Could even fit a cliché your character falls in love with Finn after, and all that yucky mushy stuff lmao. I do not mind at all.
