In present day, humans inhabit all of the earth with an artificial grip on land they do not own. They live unknowing of a whole other world-- located closer than they realize. Or perhaps they refuse to look any further, and they live unwilling to change their mundane life. Perhaps a life form that was any different from humans would be too much for them to comprehend. Nevertheless, they live on, remaining blissfully unaware of the war that rages on in the supernatural realm.

The supernatural realm, the notorious world filled with monsters and magic, has been cleverly hidden by an ancient and powerful witch's spell. For thousands of years the supernatural have lived in secret, right under the nose of the mundane world. Each species is divided into their own land to avoid conflict, though even this can't prevent wars that have been raging on since the dawn of time.

The war in question-- vampires and werewolves.

Because these monsters are forced to live in such close quarters, a temporary truce had been formed. While that didn't keep their hatred for one another at bay, it at least stopped the threat of exposure for some years. Until now.
A recent conflict over land has left the King of Vampires for dead, and the severe injury of dozens of werewolf soldiers. Both sides are equally in shock, devastated, and thirsting for revenge. Valerie, younger sister to her deceased King , is left to guide the vampires to end this terrible war once and for all.

But with victory comes a great risk. Will bloodshed bring the ultimate doom of the supernatural realm?

Greetings! If you would rather a summary of this starter, this RP is about the war between vampires and werewolves. I'm looking to put a modern twist on magical creatures and powers, so if you're anything like me, this is right up your alley!

I'm hoping to gather enough people for a forum RP, so I've provided a few spaces that need to be filled in order to make this work:

- Leader of the werewolves (Doesn't have to just be one person! Can be a power couple, siblings, the gist)
- Werewolf soldiers-- Include which rank you're looking to join
- Vampire soldiers-- Include rank
- Other species/magical persons who are neutral/side with someone in the war
- Humans who may be thrown into the supernatural realm
- Witches who play an important role in the war

If you are looking to join, please contact me through PMs or through this thread here. I am very lenient on who joins, so long as you are equally flexible and follow a couple simple rules. ALSO: I ask there to be a minimum of one paragraph per person; it's very difficult to continue the story if you only leave a couple sentences to work with!

ill play...ill be general of the vampires...if your still looking...my weaknesses are any ranged weapons, cutlass, claymore, and of course...the stake. my character would be a master of light weaponry, such as the rapier or the shortsword

Could Death somehow work into the story? He would probably be neutral if at all. I do have other supernatural characters that could work if he doesn't.

I'm kinda interested in joining as a sort of neutral character that could be a sort of vampire/werewolf hunter. What do you think?

As of right now, we are still open to accepting new people, so please let me know if you're interested. Also, I wrote a lot for my starter, so no one is obligated to match that. I only need the minimum requirement covered.

Well, since none of your characters are exactly vampires or werewolves, you could fit in as a different type of creature that remains neutral, or can volunteer to fight in the war on a certain side. Whichever character you play is up to you!

So, I have three questions:

1. Will this game involve frequent dice rolling, or will it just be more free form than anything?

2. Can I use my previous elf nerd Juliet? https://www.rprepository.com/site.php?char=104305 I'd imagine she would be very neutral on the war, helping any werewolves or vampires who looked like they needed help.

3. Are we aloud to play multiple characters? I've noticed a distinct lack of werewolves and I would love to finally play one.

I initially planned on it being more free form. But if a lot of people prefer, I'd be more than happy to incorporate dice rolling.

I actually would really appreciate if we could have another werewolf character. Just as long as it's not too overwhelming for you.

Already working on a werewolf my dude. I've never really made a character more focused on brute strength before.

Also I was hoping we wouldn't use dice rolling. Just putting that out there, though I'd be cool if we had to.
