Magic is rare. Some of the players might have it. There may be sages or other magical figures that could be sought out for tutelage.
Renaissance
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.

Is this a modern fantasy or historical roleplay? If historical, please state in the bio so that people would know. I personally don't mind either, and I'd like to enrol once I get all the details on the settings and eras.
