Sorry to bother you! Im Skela! Im a skeleton dragon! My friends and i are on a tough adventure and we need your help! Navigate through the fortress with us and discover what lies at the end! No time to lose! Lets go!
Tevren was looking for work at the request board of a village near what was rumored to be a regular stomping ground for dragons, when suddenly he finds an odd request. A flier on the board that stated a Skeleton Dragon and their friends were looking for help with a fortress. Tevren rolls his eyes as he thinks this is just a group of kids taking advantage of the request board to look for someone to help them with a game. It also appeared he wasn't the only one that thought this, as the request was being passed over by several job searchers.
Tevren wasn't really after money, but he figured he'd take a little break and maybe ask for a meal from an appreciative parent and maybe a place to rest his head for a night. Adjusting his rucksack, he takes the flier from the board and studies the request a little closer. Once he was away from the crowd, Ramea the Falcon comes and lands on his shoulder, "Check this out, Ramea. It looks like some kids are playing dragons and put a request on the board to ask for someone to help them with a game. Meeting place is at the base of the mountain..." he says before stopping where he stood, "Ooh... This is starting to seem like those kids might be in trouble now that I look closer. Scout ahead, Ramea. Lets hope those kids haven't gotten over their heads in a great big heep of trouble." he says before setting Ramea flying, taking off in a jog to look for the ruins of a mountain fortress.
With Ramea as his guide, Tevren would find the fortress in record time. But there didn't appear to be anyone around as of yet. Ramea comes to land on Tevren's shoulder and Tevren glances to her, "Any sign of anyone?..." he asks quietly. The only thing Tevren saw though was a large skeleton that looked like it might be a set of dragon bones, but no sign of any adventurous kids. Tevren took another look at the flier, "Skela!!" he calls out loudly, hoping to at least find the one that wrote the flier. The last thing he expected was for Skela to actually be a Skeleton Dragon waiting for someone to explore with.

Skela turns her head and spots Tevren. "Oh hey! You must be here for the fortress exploration! i wasn't really expecting anyone to come since this is my first time in this area where there are humans running umuck.....er, no offense. Everyone else should be here any moment! While we're waiting could you help me pry this stone door open?" she said, swishing her tail twords the large door.
Seeing the post on the board, Charlotte recognized Skela's name. She wasn't super familiar with the bone dragon, but knew who she was. At the base if the mountain... The blue-scaled dragoness turned her head toward the mountain, and started off toward it. She soon arrived at the predetermined location, her tail swishing behind her. "Are you Skela?" She asked the bone dragon. "My name is Charlotte. What did you have in mind for this adventure you posted?" She asked.
Quickclaws had been waiting alongside Skela and Charlotte, expecting and anxious of whom would respond to the skeleton's flier. He had been one of the first responders, shifting his weight and glancing around ever since he met the skeletal dragon. He honestly never met another dragon species. It was like meeting a long lost cousin that you couldn't trust nor relax around out of fear of being backstabbed or left behind or taken advantage of-
Quickclaws inhaled deeply, clearing his pacing mind. As a result, his flicking tail slowed down, almost to a halt, as he looked nervously towards the other winged lizard; the less bony one.
"So, uh, who do you think will respond?" he asked quickly, not wanting to remain in silence to ensure his safety against anxiety. He also wished to spark conversation... Maybe he should've spoke slower. He, like many of his kind, spoke rather quickly, both with dragons and humans.

Iggy were sitting in Tevren's bag, unknown if he even knew that she were there. She looked around, the bag were filled with the normal adventure gear, rope, compass, food, stuff like that. "I'm hungwy" She muttered to herself and stuffed a piece of beefjerky in her mouth, it dissolved inside her gelatinous body.
Skela firmly places her claws in the crack of the doors and attempts to pull them apart. Despite her struggling the door barely moves an inch. The large, stone, moss covered doors scraped along the stone platform below it as it moved its short distance. Skela turned her head twords her new companions. "did any of you bring tools of any kind?"
Charlotte looked toward Quickclaws when he spoke. "I'm not sure," she said. "Hopefully some with adventuring experience. I'd hate to lose a member of our tem because they couldn't find their way out of a box." She chuckled lightly, and then looked over at Skela as she tried to pull open the door. The blue dragoness stepped forward. "Here, let me try," she said. She put her claws in the door crack as Skela had done, pulling as hard as she could. Suddenly, the door ground open, having been caught on something. Wrenching the stone slab back, Charlotte opened the way inside for the others. "That was...more difficult than I expected, but it's open."
the room inside was pitch black. Skela reached down and grabbed a nearby stick. Skela held the stick to her jaws and let a small green flame burst from her mouth to ignite the stick. She held the green flamed torch into the dark room and let in illuminate it. As far as we could see there was a hallway leading to an unknown destination. "I guess we're going in" she muttered half to herself.
Quickclaws peered in, glancing around the dark room nervously. He was tempted to make a torch too, as his fire made up for heat in brightness.
He also turned back towards the other adventurers, chuckling in a jittery manner. "Uh, A-Anyone wanna lead the way?"

Skela turned to Quickclaws and giggled "ill lead"
Charlotte poked her head in. "Nervous younglings," she mumbled to herself. "I'll follow you, Skela." She stepped inside, a little disappointed that she didn't have the ability to create fire. I guess that's just one of the drawbacks of being a water dragon, she thought. That, and the lack of wings. Stepping aside to leave the others room to go in, she let her eyes adjust to the darkness. The hallway, it seemed, didn't go too far back, but there were a few passages that split off.
there seemed to be strange writing on the walls. Skela squinted her dark eyes at in in attempt to read it. it was dragon script. luckily Skela payed attention in school. She struggled to read it in the dark even with the faint light of the torch. "luck to those who pass through here. they will need it. for dangers lie ahead. rememer this: 657780"
Tevren stares in surprise as the bone dragon and several other dragon species reveal themselves, blinking as it appeared none of them were out to claim a human meal, "Um... No offense taken." he says as he watches the group work on a pair of massive stone double doors. Looking around the door a bit there appeared to be some inscriptions on and around the door, which oddly Tevren could read. He looked at a series of stones off to the left of the door that had the loose dirt shaken off of them from the stone doors being pulled open.
He'd shake his head gently and look to Ramea, "You wanna wait for me out here as usual?... Go ahead Ramea. I'll be alright." he says calmly. Ramea looks to Tevren before taking off into one of the mountainside trees, landing to keep watch of the area. Tevren then jogs up alongside the group, "So... I take it you're Skela... But I have no idea what to call the rest of you... My name's Tevren, by the way. Usually introductions are conducted before entering a dangerous structure, but I suppose the enthusiasm is admirable. Just be careful of traps, ok? In ruins like these there's no telling what could be lying in wait." he says in a calm tone, hoping the rest would introduce themselves in their own time.

"its not my first rodeo Tevren, i think i know what im doing... guys.. introduce yourselves." Skela said still concentrating on the dragon script written on the walls.
Quickclaws lumbered in after them, not much bigger than the human. "Uh, Quickclaws," the dragon quickly answered, "Dragon. SwiftScales. Part of the colony."
He said this all really quickly, almost in a hysterical manner. He realized that he should explain, but decided against it. If they wanted answers, they could ask.

((Oof. I guess I'll just insert myself here xD))
Zulae had gotten herself lost in traveling back from collecting ingredients, as the Rakehnae female had slithered about, in hopes of taking to a trail back home. She wasn't flying, for she was saving energy to use her wings later, but Zulae did have her large bow equipped, and a potion ready to throw.
The terrain sort of helped the female traverse her vicinity, as Zulae continued onward. Her small pouch managed to remain slung between her wings, as she kept her guard up for any ambushers, or just an enemy in general.
Soon, however, the Rakehnae would happen upon an open, stone door that lead to a dark opening. Zulae tilted her head in the slightest, as she narrowed her eyes. There was a faint voice that emitted from the opening, which peaked the Rakehnae's curiosity. Following the source, she'd slither around, until Zulae was latched upside down of the stone door.
The Rakehnae female drew back her bow, and looked down. From her angle, Zulae shot it in, as if testing what would happen.

At the human's question, Charlotte turned back to look at him. "My name is Charlotte," she said. "I suppose that we should have introduced ourselves before, you're right. I'm a water dragon, so I have the ability to breathe underwater, at the cost of lacking fire and wings." She lowered her head next to Tevren, sniffing him. "You're certainly an interesting one," she told him. "I'm not going to try and eat you. I've strayed away from your taste after...well, we'll not dwell on that." She raised her head again, looking around. "Traps are always a concern in places like this, yes." She felt something clank off her scales, rattling to the ground next to her. She turned to look back at the entrance, seeing the winged form. "And who might you be?" She called.
The woman glided downward, with her bow quickly drawn back. She was staring rather intensely into the corridor, as her tail slithered in place with a rather sinuous notion.
The Rakehnae female's heart beated for a few moments, as her bow only remained in its drawn position. Her wings were now folded up, as the voice beyond the door spoke in a questioning manner.
"And who might you be?"
Zulae got herself into a defensive stance, as her bow aimed toward the area of the spoken voice. The Rakehnae stared in the direction of the voice that had spoken through the shadows, before saying in a decipherable murmur: "I thought I saw something inside here."

Tevren looked back after hearing the arrow hit Charlotte's scales and get deflected like a natural set of armor, hearing the timid voice and the silhouette of what Tevren at first thought was a Lamia Archer, "Um... You did. We came to explore these ruins. Please don't fire another arrow. If you miss there's a chance you could sever a trip wire and doom all of us in here. We mean you no harm." he calls out peacefully. After he says this he looks to Charlotte, "I envy your scales, Charlotte. They have admirable defensive qualities." he says complementingly to her.
