I've had this idea for quite a while and thought I'd make a post about it 
I'm looking for a RP based on two characters, same or opposite genders, who are on the run together. Be it to escape their unfavorable lives or the law, they are trying to get away and not be found. They could start out in a relationship or start off as friends, but they need to be close enough to be convinced to leave town together. Romance can be expected in this RP, as the characters and how they work together will be almost the whole focus. Something is bound to bud out of two people alone, going through struggles, having a lot of time to talk, learning to trust each other, etc.
They could leave via ones car, freight hopping, or any others if you have a different idea. I would really like the idea of freight hopping but its still up for discussion.
I would use a different version of my character Maddi, her story would be changed but her personality would remain the same. She is funny, caring but also sarcastic and mean at times.
I'm willing to change almost anything if you have a different idea but I would like the basis of running away to stay constant.
Requirements~
I would like someone who is understanding and willing to work with me on this, flexible in that aspect. I don't much care for Mary Sue characters. Someone who is easy to talk to would be great! Not huge grammar nazis, and is willing to write more then a line a post. But, again, don't shy away from here if you are/are not any of these! Talk to me and we can make exceptions! (I'm really not too picky)

Plausible legends of ancient magic, but current magic is not common.
Modern
Distant war may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat will likely be summarized, not played out in detail.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.

Would Thatcher work for this scenario? He's rather isolated in terms of social standing and military history.
