[YC] was on the run from the Chazer, a group of enforcers whom are trained to take down people who possess the magical ability to [Magic power of your choice], and put them behind closed bars, away from public eye in specialized, controlled prisons.
[YC] was wondering in a very poor town neighboring the city, home to both supernaturals and humans alike. A strange figure in a tatted brown hood rushes past briskly. Looking back to see why they could have possibly been in such a rush, [YC] is immediately recognized by a patrol of Chazer, whom shout at and chase [YC] around the lazy town. At some point in the chase, [YC] runs into a tall, seemingly abandoned building. After hurdling toppled tables and sleeping bags, [YC] endures up to the top floor, with nowhere to go. Standing there in the open was the hooded figure from before, who pulls down their hood to reveal a shoulder-blade length of Seafoam green locks, and green eyes. Unusual hair and eye colors, typical of a supernatural. Their mouth was covered by the same cloth the hood was made of, and it was impossible to tell what gender this… Mystery was.
They take a glance at the Chazer rushing up behind [YC], and immediately rush forward, grabbing [YC]’s wrist and yanking both themself and [YC] off the building, into a fall. Green… Let’s call them, caught onto a long washing line between two buildings, and skidded the rest of the way down into another building's window, where green led [YC] through shortcuts out the building and into the maze of filthy, cold alleyways.
Once the shouting died out, Green let go of [YC]’s wrist, and flipped their hood back up. Green turned their back to [YC], and took a moment to catch their breath.

I will be playing with my darling Ermina Guerra , They possess telekenesis powers, if you're not too bothered about looking at their profile.

Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.

Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
