(as long as theres nothing of avoiding everything. my characyers ca be attacked.)
Sorea didn't look even the slightest bit intimidated by anything Shadya had said. She was however disappointed that Darkness as his name appeared to be didn't have any information about this dragon. Well she would just have to make do without it.
Right now the intense rain that was normally only a blessing for her, was now proving to be a bit of a curse as well. While it was likely keeping Shadya grounded, it was also keeping Darkness grounded. So if she took to the air, if would leave Darknesses trapped here because of Shadya who might try to attack him instead of her. She could clear up the rain, but it would also take away her advantage. So she decided to try to make room for Darkness as she fought Shadya.
Deciding that there was no point in offering the demonic dragon a chance to surrender, Sorea bared her fangs and shot a lightning bolt at him. She hoped that the attack would either hit him or force him to dodge which would give her a chance to help Darkness escape.

The lighting bolt hit him, causing him to flinch to the left. His arm was singed, but also numbed as it was stiff and not moving. Shadya growls and shot a shard of dark ice at her quickly, though slowed by the rain that had him throughly soaked and sluggish to move. ''You'll never escape me!'' He hissed as he shot it, glaring.
Dark tries to flap his wings, but the water prevents him from getting anywhere.

[We are doing a lot of house cleaning right so I don't have much time so I can't post today. I will post tomorrow tho.]
[Dark Ice is just normal ice that also contains some dark energy. Light and fire can melt it.]
Sorea was pleased to see that her attack caused some damage, but she knew better then to become complacent just because she had scored a decent hit. She watch as Shadya counterattacked with a shard of strange looking ice. She countered this by shooting another bolt of lightning at it which both shattered and melted it with the intense flash of heat.
Sorea then suddenly shot forward and tried to sink her fangs into Shadya's right leg. A bidepdal creature like Shadya was very dependent on both legs and an injury to one was a serious disadvantage in a fight.
[Her head is tilted to the left btw since she is trying to bite.]

Shadya turns at such an angle her bite lands on a small chunk of bone armmor. Though he does cringe slightly, one tooth sinking into his arm. He growls at her harshly, then fires a breathe of dark fire at her, though it was weakened by the pouring rain. Dark fire was a common trait used by demon dragons who'd been trained to fight even in the deadly weather. It was fire, but darker than usual and hotter.
Sorea could taste a small amount of blood as a single tooth managed to sink into the demonic dragon's body. It was still then she had hoped, but better then nothing. It was hen that Shadya attacked and she instantly recoiled, but not fast enough. Despite her effort, the weakened fire still managed to singe a patch of her neck. The scales were left intact, but the flesh underneath the scales was still damaged by the intense heat, of course the damage was far less then normal because of the rain's cooling touch.
Sorea drew back and snarled at Shadya. Then suddenly a bolt of lightning arced down from the sky straight down towards Shadya.

Shadya looked up in time to see, but getss zapped by the bolt. He screeches for several minutes, then falls down, bone armor crackling off to show thin patches of skin and scales. He staggered back up weakly, then growls harshly, bitten foot held up to his side, other foot moving but bruised.
''How'd those flames feel, you foolish storm dragon?'' He snarled, before firing another stream of weakened dark fire at her. Darkness backs away farther, frightened even more as he heard the footsteps of the army far behind the injured demon dragon.

Sorea watched as the bolt hit and as the weakened Shadya managed to return to his feet. Then as he breathed fire again, Sorea countered it with a great beat of her winds sending a small gust of wind at the flames which slowed it down as the rain extinguished it.
"I have had worse. How's the the lightning treating you? I wouldn't know as I haven't been struck by it before. Perhaps you would like another sample?"
With that she shot another bolt of lightning at Shadya from her mouth before flying up. Suddenly the rain ceased to fall and the cloud grew lighter. It had never been Sorea's intention to keep fighting Shadya, the goal had been to just weaken the demon enough so that he wouldn't be able to follow once she stopped the rain.
She flew over Darkness and called out. "Now's your chance! The army is still quite far off and Shadya is weakened. To cover of the clouds!"
She then flew straight into the cloud cover and out of sight.

Shadya avoided the bolt, but landed facefirst on the ground after his wings frame fell apart.
Darkness shook the rain off and took to the skies as well, large wings casting a shadow below as he flew up quickly after Sorea, wings flapping silently.
The army caught up to Shadya after the two were long gone. Shadya told them of what happened, and how the dragon had got away with aid from a storm dragon. Once finished, the army talked before scattering to hunt down the two.
Dark catches up to Sorea with ease due to his thin build, and goes into a glide nearby, large wings spread. The chain on his foot dangles lightly, demon writing on it. He looks at her, unsure if he should tell her where they were headed.

Sorea slowed down a bit so that Darkness could take the lead. She had certainly put a lot of effort into helping this strange dragon and she knew next to nothing about him. Why were so many f these demonic dragons after him? Her burn still hurt some, tho the cool cover of the clouds helped some.
"Why are those demons after you and what is with those chains? You certainly seem to have significant problems, ones I seem to have involved myself in."
Sorea couldn't help but wonder when they were going to see those demonic dragons again, sure they may have escaped, but if they were willing to send an army, they were not going to give up so easily.

''This chain is one I got after I broke free of capture the first time I got caught. Those demons are hunting me because they think I'm a grave threat to them because I got free after I got caught the first time..'' He replied, flapping his large wings. He looked odd for a dragon, darker than a normal one. Something about this made him seem off, as he replies were nervous. He looks around before stopping and flying in place.
''We're heading towards a deserted village high in the clouds, where it should be safe. No demons can get there unless they climb really high. What do you think?''

[demons i talk of are often too lazy to fly, asd they prefer to walk more than flight....]
[First of all, sorry for the really late reply. I had company over here for xmas. 2nd of all, now that things are starting to calm down a bit around here, i should be posting more regularly.]
Sorea listened silently until Darkness finished, only did she reply. "I see, but why did they capture you in the first place? Demons normally are not in the business of catching dragon. Did you trespass into their territory or something?"
Then upon hearing their destination, she couldn't help, but feel perplexed. "Demons are not something i know much about, but they had wings, albeit pitiful looking ones. Couldn't they just fly there the same as us? Why would they need to climb?"

''I'm just a dragon they seem to want badly.'' He muttered.
''The demons we know off prefer to climb, as flight would be difficult considering each wing on them ia torn or badly damaged. The village was built in a way where demons will have trouble getting in due to aincent magic and walls.''

Sorea didn't reply since she knew that there was more to it then Darknesses was letting on. He looked different then any other dragon she had seen, but then again there could be dragon species that she had never met yet.
So she choose to drop the subject for now and reply with. "Well that explains the sad looking wings on Shadya. You would think they would take better care of their wings. Oh well, their loss is our gain."

He nods and continue to the village, flapping his wings slowly.
