"Classes? You mean school? I've actually stopped going to school in the first grade." Katherine embarrassingly admits.

"First grade?" Ace raised an eyebrow. "Whatever that is, Akademeia doesn't do it that way. See...Being soldiers, Akademeia is a school of combat and magic, and they arrange their Agito Cadets in one of twelve classes. Class First, Class Second, and so on. All the way to Class Twelfth. The classes all do something different. However, we also have two others, Trainees, and the now official Class Zero, which happens to be my class."

"That sounds so much more better than my two years of school. Schools don't accept wolf hybrids." Katherine explains.

"I'm sure Akademeia would...I mean, we have the biggest gang of misfits and so on. Class Twelfth is the "misfit" class, but still valuable on the field."

"I don't know. The kindergartners were pretty tough back in the day. Those toy bananas were scary." Katherine makes a joke.

"Toy...what?" Chuckling, Ace only shrugged. "I'm not fully sure what that is, but...I mean, we have what they call "Military Operation/Organization Guidance Logistics Expert, or Moogle, for short. Each class has one, alongside a commanding officer. We call our Moogle, "Moglin". And, where I from, we don't have things like horses, if I'm getting it right, we have large birds, called chocobos."

"You never had a toy? Or horses?"

"Horses aren't a thing there...And, of course, I had toys, if I wanted them. They were under the conditions that they not distract me."

"So you never played with toys growing up?"

"I assure you...That's not the case."

"Enlighten me."

"Okay, think this way. I did have toys to play with, if I wanted, but I didn't really play with them that often."

"So you chose to not have a childhood? I get it." Katherine pokes fun at him.

"That's...not what I meant, but whatever, I guess."

Katherine giggles a little.

"I had a childhood, obviously, but chose to spend it differently."

"I get it. I spent mine living with my pack. We played tag a lot."

"Oh? Well, that does sound a little fun, if you asked me."

"It was for the most part, but then it became the same thing over and over again."

"Yeah, that can get pretty boring."
