Percy ducked, his head down and his breath going heavy. He was stuck training with Clarisse, the daughter of the war god himself, and an enemy of his ever since he first got to camp. He could remember the day clearly- The Ares cabin dragged him into the girls bathroom to dunk him, and he made water shoot out of the toilets and soaked them. Ever since then, she’s hated his demigod guts. Clarisse’s electric sword swung near his shoulder, and he slid to the right, trying to hit the sword out of her hand with a thrust of Riptide. She dodged. “You think you can fight me, Jackson?” She growled in the middle of cutting him up with her sword, and Percy didn’t answer. Chiron had taught him to just focus on his opponents moves, not her/his other actions, such as talking. He had a feeling Chiron hated him, having Percy team up with Clarisse for sword fighting training, when the old horse knew that she wanted to beat him with his electric sword. Just as she was about to do just that- The dinner bell rung. And the demigods all rushed to their tables.
On the way there, Annabeth snuck up on him and touched his shoulder, making him jump. She laughed, her gray eyes having a sparkle in them. “Hey, Seaweed Brain, did you hear the news?” She asked, kissing his cheek. Percy blushed. “Clarisse almost ripped my head off?” He guessed hopefully. “I hope not. No, there’s a new demigod here. He/she’s name is apparently y/c.” Annabeth informed him, and Percy almost publicly groaned. “Any idea of what God is their father or mother?” He asked, and Annabeth rolled her eyes. “Of course not, you know that. It doesn’t happen automatically. You should know Percy, you’ve been here since you were 12, and you’re 18 now.” She started ranting, and Percy had learned to tune her out. Annabeth being the daughter of Athena was tough for Percy, due to the fact that he was dating the wise girl. So he had mentally learned how to ignore her when she was talking like a smart mouth. He was about to ask her to lay off the mother talk, but was interrupted by a loud shout coming from the tables-

I heard CHB, I love Riordans stuff, he's the reason I started writing.
My OC for the olympian/egyptian/asgardian world is Mathew one of the few sons of Typhon, god of monsters. His mother was a human who could see through mist and saw the monsters and loved them for what they were, well this gained Typhons respect before his defeat. She fell in love and asked the god to merry her, he did not but left her with a child. This might give you the idea he is friends with every monster. Though this is true in some cases and only with direct children of Typhon, it also makes him more of a target, as monsters consider him either a threat or competition due to being kind of a pure bread super monster (which he really is not), so they want him dead twice as bad. But some smaller monsters, like Basilisk are not as quick to attack him as they are related distantly. Older monsters will also consider him less of a threat and more as a brother, as they are closer descendants to the god, and more closely related. Though due to his parentage, Zeus had in thrown to Tarturus where years later he was found by Nice Di Angelo who demanded his release. In his time he became more like a monster, he now is bigger and still unaware of his heritage, knowing only that he is not like his fellow demigods. His powers include super strength, endurance, and senses, he also can sense monsters around him sometimes, and has an indepth almost instinct knowledge of other monsters born from Typhon.
