Aurora cringed slightly, before sighing quietly to herself. “Well, it was about 5 years ago. My elder sister and I were walking home when these men tried to rob us. My sister tried to fight back... she didn’t make it. And I got this scar.”

Liam let out a sigh" im so sorry " then spoke again" everyone has a hard time " he said softly as he slowly adjusted his scarf.

She nodded, remaining silent for a couple minutes as the two walked down the hall. “What brings you here?” She asked eventually, breaking the silence.

Liam gave a shurg" just to see what public school is like" he stated keeping at the same pace as her still.

“Public school? So, you were at a private school before now?” She asked, turning her head to look at him.

He gave a sigh " I was in a private school yes" he said as he continued to walk.

“What made you switch here?” She asked, adjusting her sweater as they walked. It was pointless of her to wear a sweater considering how nice it was outside, but it was a habit.

" I wanted to try something new" Liam spoke softly. As he walked next to Aurora " besides private school is no fun " he added.

“I would imagine so.” She said, giving him a small smile. She stopped walking as they neared the end of the science hall. “I think we’ve pretty much covered the entire school. The school day is almost over, so I might just leave now. Care to join?” She asked, giving him a smirk as she moved her bright red hair out of her face, running her fingers through the strands.

Liam nodded a Aurora "sure why not there's nothing else better to do" he said softly " so tell me what do you like to eat?" He curiously asked her.

“Anything really,” She answered, pausing for a moment, “Except for tomatos, and peaches.” She added, giggling.

Liam lightly chuckled" id like to take you out to lunch if that's ok?" He said softly walking towards the entrance of the school.

A light pink decorated Aurora’s cheeks as he asked her out to lunch. She convinced herself it didn’t mean anything, they were just friends.
She realized she hadn’t responded yet and nodded, “Sure, I’d love to.”
