Hi, friends!

This is a new thread as most of the prompts from my previous one have already closed. Thank you so much for the fun times and the feedback on those! But now it's time for some new ones as well as some old ones that I have completely revamped.

As always, I put a lot of love and details into my stories and now I'm looking for someone to do the same with together. Well thought out characters and plots only please - and while this isn't a must, I would love for a partner is able to play more than just one character too. All types of role-players - beginner, advanced and expert are also all welcomed!

My threads have this weird tendency to be long so you can check my profile page for some quick rules/info about myself as a RPer!

If you don't want to RP here in a private message or personal thread, you can also find me on Discord. I've just created an account this week and I do tend to respond faster there as well. All I ask is that you note me here first before adding me on Discord cause high chance I won't know who you are and I don't really add strangers on there anyways. But once we decided that were are indeed compatible RP buddies, shoot me a message!

A nation is divided by a civil war – those who are supportive of the centuries old monarchy and those who are passionate for a new, democratic union. The war breaks the country in half – brother against brother as it’s citizens are forced to choose a side. Desperate and abandoning human ethics laws, pro-union scientists discovered a gene that is used to create a breed of super soldiers - genetically superior warriors who helped turn the tide and eventually brought victory to the union.

Your OC (male, any age) is a war relic, one of the few experimental super soldiers left over from the war. But soon after the war ended, the super humans who acted as the union’s army were faced with intense discrimination. Instead of war honors or veteran rights, they are treated like common criminals. Abominations. Those who weren’t lynched or “humanely” euthanized went into hiding and the legends of their heroics faded away in urban legends.

And now the union is corrupt, filled with nationalists and patriots who only benefit those who can line their pockets. Stuck and forgotten in the slums of the armored capital, your OC is desperate for any way to leave this life and escape to the borders of a nearby country – to have the chance to live a normal life. But the only ways in or out is either through the heavily guarded toll roads or through the underground black market and both methods require money.

Besides, Your OC owes the local syndicate a huge favor (for whatever reason) and they aren’t willing to let it go until the debt has been paid in full. Given this ordeal, Your OCs been forced into a corner and given a deal can’t refuse – The debt will be forgiven if Your OC kidnaps the granddaughter of an ex-union scientist so they can send him a message about his 'war crimes' against, what they claim, the foundation in which the union was built upon. As a bonus, your OC can keep the ransom money and use it to start a new life over the border.

Little does Your OC know that they are being framed. And little does Your OC know that the girl is the last heir to the throne.

These people aren’t just a crime syndicate, but radical rebels who are anti-union and looking to start an uprising by stirring up rumors stemmed from the urban legends from the war. The rumor that one of the monarchy survived the mass massacre of the royal family and is hiding among them.

The rebels plan to assassinate the girl and frame her murder on the ex-soldier in order to stir unrest among the people. They don’t want to restore the monarchy, but rather, create a new republic forced to follow their own rules.

Your OC turns from her abductor to her protector when he realizes that the restoration of the monarchy could lead to equal rights for his kind. Yes, the monarchy was never perfect... but there is now a small chance for him to finally live a normal, peaceful life.

The Grim Reaper is a very powerful yet a very overworked individual. Whether they are spending late nights in the office signing paperwork or arranging tickets for the newly departed to past into the afterlife, The Reaper (affectionately known as Death) has been given a bad rap and is feeling incredibly under appreciated by the mortal world above.

Well, except for one mortal - Your OC (male or female) who keeps killing other mortals just so that they can draw the Reaper in and try to persuade them to fall in love with them - or at the very least, just go on a date with them...

Somehow, this strange mortal seems to know Death's likes and dislikes, their favorite color and how much creamer they like in their coffee - all sorts of things mortals should not know. At first, The Reaper wasn't sure if they should be flattered or unsettled. But this point now, The Grim Reaper is just annoyed. They have way too much work to do and running on just three cups of coffee certainly doesn't help their mood at all. So Death does their best to ignore their stalker’s advances.

The mortal gets desperate and eventually resorts to killing themselves over and over again so they can get a one and one with the Reaper himself. Of course, it’s not Your OC’s time to die, so the Reaper is forced to send them back to the world of the living. Again and again.

Whether it’s lust, love or just an extremely clingy person, this goes one for years. Will the mortal win the heart of the Reaper or will their advances all be in vain?

Prologue:

Everyone thinks that gods are immortal. But just because mortal man can't kill them doesn't mean that they live forever.

The religious speak the fall of the immortals. The legend goes that the cosmos were once in chaos and a war raged out high in the heavens between sun god and the moon goddess. All of the celestial deities of law, life and nature came together and choose a side. It was either side of their sun king or the side the queen of the night. Then, they fought for nearly a millennium. It’s said that heaven groaned and bent under their hatred for one another and in the thousandth year when the moon eclipsed the sun, the heavens split in two and devoured the immortals. The universe was on it’s own and race it’s wobbly course through time, buying time before it's inevitable demise.

Many say this is were it ends, that the gods are dead and that is why the land is slowly dying. Why the heavens were once beautiful, but are nothing more than stars wandering in their own separate orbits. But a legend has it that not all the gods have fallen. It is said that there is one, the only daughter of the sun and moon, whose soul was casted out of heaven. Her soul now lies buried in the bones of a mortal that she may have a chance to restore what their kind has destroyed.

Present Day:

Your OC (female, age ranging from 6yrs-16yrs) lives a safe yet sheltered life in a small upper class community known as Neuhaven. You’ve grown up with a caring mother who has cared for you the best she can, despite being blind. She’s given you lots of love and you are well provided for regardless. From growing up inside the walls of the city, you have an idealized yet innocent view of how the world works.

Despite your life appearing to be perfect, you know something is missing. Deep down in your bones, you feel like you didn’t fit in here even if you don’t know why. That something is missing and that you have a purpose beyond filling the hole the community wants you to fill. Sometimes, you sneak away your secret place where you can think to yourself. Until one day, you stumble upon something. In your secret place away from people, there is what looks like to be a crack… in the air next to you. In the normally clean, fresh air, there is a black crack that hums and sparks upon closer examination. You can’t see anything at first, but it seems to be growing bigger everyday.

One day, it grows big enough that you can peek through it. All you see is blackness at first, but as it gets bigger more things come into view of the other side. Things you never thought you’d see…

There seems to be a lot of things you don’t know. You don’t know that outside this fake hologram dome over your city, there is another world. One that is colder, harsher and filled with people who wander the Earth trying to survive. You don’t know that your community is an illusion created by a strange government with even strange men and women who seem to be nothing more than puppets in the system. You don’t know that your safe haven will soon become apart of an age old battle ground between the proletarians and the bourgeois the moment that shield comes down. And it will come down, leaving you to face the bitter cold outside with no chance of return.

You don’t know that the sun is going to die unless an immortal mends it, that the elements are withering away and the stars will wander from their orbits unless an immortal keeps the balance. You don’t know that the moon is slowly pulling further away and the seasons are growing colder. You don’t know that you are the child of the god, sent here to save humanity from the same fate that took your ancestors. You’re here to save humanity before it's too late.

Not many people know about the true motives behind this government-funded organization known as The National Observatory of Divergent Organisms (NODO). While many believes NODO focuses on conservation effects around the world and studying creatures that could possible endanger the planet's eco-system, NODO goes a step further than that. NODO does study living organisms - a breed of human they labeled as meta- humans or “super humans”.

They are a class of genetically superior homo-sapiens that could quite possibly one day replace humans as the dominant species on Earth. That is why it is NODO’s priority to study them, keep them from living among the humans and learning our patterns, habits and secrets, least they destroy us and take our place.

Your OC [looking for a child OC, preferably a female of any age] is one of the super humans living in the Southern UK facility. [They have either been their all their lives or are a recent addition]. The company tells them that you’re here so they can protect others around you, but in your mind the place you live in is anything but pleasant. You don’t want to hurt anyone, but then again, you want your freedom. You’ve heard talk of the Outside and you want to go. One of the few people who has shown you kindness to you is your caretaker My OC, one of the scientists who is responsible doing tests and ultimately, for your wellbeing. You dare to call him your friend, a brother, an uncle, perhaps even more, but even though he’s nice to you they won’t let you outside. Until now…

News comes that your facing a transfer to a facility in Mexico, a notorious facility – But the night before the transfer, your caretaker wakes you up and unlocks your door. In the dead of night, the two of you sneak away and are on the run to the France to meet with a French defector from the Paris facility. The organization will be looking for you, dead or alive, and world might not be quite as you thought.

You’re are free. But your freedom will come with a cost.

In a small eastern country set in the 40s, rumors spread of a a young child from a backwater mountain village who is said to possess the the fire of life and is believed to able to bring the dead back to the land of the living. And now, she's been captured by a radical fascist political party who is trying to bring their assassinated supreme leader back to life. The country's exiled monarch, who now runs a successful underground gambling ring to fund an uprising against the dictatorship, assembles a team of outcasts (mercenaries, criminals, ex-military, etc.) and pays them to find the girl in exchange for their freedom and their crimes wiped clean. The task is to smuggle the girl out and in the process, ensure that one of the century's most bloodthirsty dictators stays six feet under.
