Can someone please explain step by step on how to add a video or photo on here? Its for an rp that I am doing.

For other video sites you'll need to link to the url. You can make it just say 'Click here for video' by following this - https://www.rprepository.com/help/bbcode#70

To get a url to an image to use with that code you'll need to upload it first, I recommend imgur - https://imgur.com/upload or you can upload to your RPR character galleries and use those links.
Imgur is fab for embedding images on RPR because it gives you the bbcode option to simply paste and post:
